^ I'm surprised it took this long for that to reach this site.
I can't disagree with any of what he said, but this is just a guy who literally doesn't care what anyone thinks. If you look at any other YouTube concert videos of him, you'll see that this isn't the first time he's called out other artists.
* Covered "What Hurts The Most" (exceptionally) and knocked Rascal Flatts version of it, also in his "Whiskey And You" cover said that Tim McGraw "ruined" the song when he recorded it, (praised Stapletons fwiw). He doesn't hate all country music today, I know he's a fan of Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Chris Young.
He's definitely not the greatest guy around but he says what's on his mind and though it might come off bad, I respect that.
Totally understand if you don't like the guy, but this mans voice/writing is absolutely incredible. I will definitely be buying the "Sinner" album. "Momma" is on iTunes and it's probably one of the 10 best songs I've heard in 2016. It's unbelievably good. He's definitely a better artist than the names he bashed, that's for sure.

"Sinner" is such a good album. Very glad to see many people are buying the album on itunes. Not sure what this means for Pop Country artists though. I think it means that Country radio will play less and less of them and then eventually all together stop playing them because there will be no reason to play stuff like that when they can be playing stuff that has some meat and some more of the Outlaw Country stuff. Anyway like I said I love the album and I am so glad that there will be a resurgence of Outlaw Country. It's been too long since the last time it was around. Pre-ordered the album on Amazon and just got it today. Not gonna name names either but the Pop Country artists are gonna have to change it up with their music because of the demand for good quality country songs.

Pop country artists won't have to change anything. What they're doing is working whether you want to admit it to yourself or not.

Yeah just like putting artificial ingredients and chemicals in chicken McNuggets worked too. Didn't make it right.

She's clearly wrong that pop country artists will still be around. No that's not gonna happen. Pop Country artists have a reason to worry and the reason is that they need to make music that will be remembered. All I will say about Bro-Country and Pop Country in the future is, "Remember the Bro-country days and when Pop Country dominated Country music with some of the worst lyrics ever"?

The highlighted sentence. Um, no, you can't say that. From Pulse's Country Forum Rules/Guidelines. Please post about the songs, not about other posters or the dismissive judgements of their opinions. I suggest to everyone to make sure we nip this in the butt before the potential of derailing a thread happens. Thanks.

I'm questioning whether you have the right to tell me what to do. You are clearly not an admin.

Well. I "clearly" am, so allow me to tell you that that doesn't matter - he's a moderator, ergo part of the staff, ergo allowed to point out that you've continued to break the rules despite repeated warnings and a week off to review them. sabre14's suggestion to return the topic of discussion to music and not other posters, if ignored, will result in further warnings.

This song continues to just hang around in the 70s and has yet to move anywhere for such a long time, this song did lose around 70k and it's audience total audience is about 250k so it appears this song is slowly bleeding audience away and will hopefully leave MB shortl.
