Was there a bigger album last year? I understand why it won. Bad Bunny’s album was #1 for 13 weeks and was the #1 album on the year-end Top 200.

Was there a bigger album last year? I understand why it won. Yes, but Harry had a top ten album almost every week since it was released, and it was also a critical success. So, I'm not sure why other fanbases are up in arms. It's not like this was some awful, unpopular/unknown album that "stole Beyonce's" award.

I don't think anyone would have sideeyed an As It Was win, it was one of the best and biggest hits of 2022... the album was a hit but it didn't really have the same impact.

It's not most impactful album of the year, though. And if that's the logic some people think the grammys should go by, then SOTY and BNA were definitely not the most impactful either and should be discussed more than AOTY. People in general (specifically the twitter stans) need to realize that with thousands of voters, everyone will vote to their tastes, and for many - they do not like or appreciate that it takes some artists a boat load of people to make the album, and others a handful or so.

^I think you missed the point. He was trying to say the album didn’t deserve to win. I liked the album, and I don’t get too involved with the awards and all that, but other fan bases are not thrilled about Harry’s win. 😆 But Harry's is! Doesn't matter what other fandoms think. Everyone wants their own favorites to win. Happens every year. I personally love the album and am ecstatic it won. Congrats Harry!

It’s a bit bland to me and his vocals are not as great as on Fine line. Look, I have my preferences, but I’m not going to take away from his moment. Despite whatever preferences people had, Harry was picked as AOTY and he deserves to have his moment without being dragged into Grammy politics or past bad choices. I’m sure next year, everyone will feel this way when I’m rooting for Midnights to win AOTY, lol.

A clean sweep. A full HOUSE! I’m happy that he seemed more excited in this element. He just seemed so joyful. Nothing to take away from his moment.

Unpopular opinion but Satellite should be the next single.

Unpopular opinion but Satellite should be the next single. Iniduohs posted again recently so hopefully we find out soon! Daydreaming would fit as well - I'm curious!

Based on the recent You Are Home stuff I think were getting a video for Satellite soon.
Curious if it's same video as the yellow bird, the solo eating one, or something else. Or are they the same one? Never can tell with him but hopefully find out soon! 😂

. harry_Styles’ “As It Was” spends a milestone 60th week charting on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart. It officially ties “Blinding Lights” for the longest charting song in the chart’s history.

My manz needs a break! I worry about him. He’s been touring since 2021, with very little time to breathe between movies and promotions. I don’t want him to burn out. I really want him to take some time and enjoy the fruits of his labor, but in a McDonalds industry where fast food is equivalent to producing new music at high speed, I wouldn’t be surprised if a new album comes out next year and he extends the tour or starts a new one.
I just think he’s accomplished so much and isn’t going to fade easily, so he can afford to rest a bit. He is still energetic on stage, but I can also see the exhaustion in some of his candids.

I think he'll disappear after this leg like he has in the past. Despite starting in 2021, by the time this leg is over he'll have been touring for technically less than 2 years which may be a lot for some, but I don't think excessively so. Especially since it was for two albums and he built in quite a few breaks. And the residencies helped since they weren't traveling during them. The man doesn't know how to sit, though, so even when he does disappear he'll no doubt be busy. And I cant wait to see what it is. But for now, I'm going to enjoy these last few shows. He truly has so much fun up there and it extends to the crowd. So good.

But he hasn’t toured throughout those years consecutively, and we’re not even halfway through this year. It’s all a mind bubble. I’m also counting the amount of appearances and promotion he’s done for My Policeman and Don’t Worry Darling between shows. Then there was Coachella. All those radio shows. The music videos. He works really, really hard, and the personal part of me just wants him to enjoy some life. The fan part? I’ll always want more.

The "As It Was" thread I think is locked so I'll just pop this here - it's still holding steady and strong! harry _Styles’ "As It Was" becomes the fastest song to surpass 2.3 billion streams in Spotify history. Billboard Hot 100: #21(+2) As It Was, harry _Styles [59 weeks]. *peak: #1 for 15 weeks*

And as far as the album and other music: Harry Styles now has 2 songs in the Top 20 of the most streamed songs of all-time on Spotify (one track streams):
#16. 'As It Was' - 2.3 billion #20. 'Watermelon Sugar' - 2.24 billion harry_Styles' 'Harry's House' has now spent 1 full year on the Billboard 200. It has never left the top 40.
All 3 of his albums have achieved that 52-week milestone.

On a related note: . harry_Styles becomes the first artist in history to have every track on his first three albums certified @riaa Gold or higher in the US. 🔥♥️

Hmm, strange that Harry's House was only certified 2x Platinum. They must be saving more album certs for later. With Fine Line and Harry Styles still doing well on the charts, there is no way they should be stuck on 3x Platinum and Platinum, respectively.

Harry Styles, the album, now certified 2x Platinum, and Satellite is now certified Platinum. Expecting in another 2-3 months Fine Line and Harry's House to get additional certs.
