This was P!nk's sophomore album, released in 2001. This album was a major international breakthrough for her, and her decision to move passed those Destiny's Child scraps from her first album was brilliant. This album and I'm Not Dead are definitely my favorite albums of hers. AllMusic gave the album 4.5/5 stars:

Love this album. I liked her debut well enough, but this was the album that made me a huge fan. "18 Wheeler" is one of the biggest missed opportunities single wise of her career, I think. I wish that could have been the fourth single, but looking back, I totally get why they went with "Family Portrait". Still, I wish they could have gone five deep.

I revisited this album a few months ago. I played it non stop the year it was released. The singles are top notch. I think Respect was so good and could have been a hit. 18 Wheeler is an obvious fan fav and def should have been a single! I Also loved the title track. Catch 22 was also a cool little song!

Her best album to date. Just Like a Pill and Don't Let Me Get Me are still my favorite songs she's ever done.

Such a revolutionary album of the 2000s - I think she paved the way for pop-rock to find it's way into mainstream with Let Go, Stripped, Fallen, and Breakaway following shortly after.
She killed the singles this era, and her imagery was everything!
Get the Party Started - Such a feel good song, one of the most iconic songs of the 2000s! Don't Let Me Get Me - An anthem for those with low self-esteem and negative self-image Just Like a Pill - one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard - there's so much vulnerability yet hope in that song! Family Portrait - amazing ballad about the effects of separation, her pleading "Daddy don't leave, turn around please" and "You took my shining star away" is one of the most amazing lines she's ever written

This is such a fantastic album. "Eventually" is really the only track I've never been able to get into. "Don't Let Me Get Me," "Just Like a Pill," "Lonely Girl," and "Numb" remain as some of her all time best tracks.

And other than those, Eventually is the ONLY other track I've loved. LOL
