Weeknights, Los Angeles' KNX airs one hour of various drama shows at 9PM. Every Saturday night, KFMB-AM airs Imagination Theater. KFI, also in Los Angeles, use to air The Twilight Zone during the overnight hours of Sunday morning until Art Bell started doing Coast to Coast on the weekends.

Now when you say drama shows on the radio, do you also mean the classic radio dramas like War Of The Worlds or Fibber McGhee & Molly among others? If that is the case there was one show that has been on the radio over 50 years, it hails from Chicago and it still has the same old style classic radio drama feel. Not only that, you can also hear it on some of the Christian radio stations on the left of the dial. That show is called Unshackled(www.unshackled.org).
Some of the AM stations are also broadcasting the old radio dramas and comedies. The last station I that I had the pleasure listening to was on WTIX-AM 690 in New Orleans that plays these radio dramas (go to http://www.wtix.com). I must say that it's very refreshing to hear something different for a change.
