This song is hotter than hot. There is no such thing as a Rauhofer mix though. It's a mislabel. All there is, is Eric Kupper's Extended Mix at this moment. This has been confirmed. What a fantastic track though. I hope this does big things. It may possibly take Live You All Over's place as my song of the moment!
Peace, Ben

I got the song from a DJ friend in NY and the file came with Rauhofer's name on. Also he is listed as the mixer of the song at www.peterrauhofer.com on the message board section - July chart thread. Anyway,I love this song!

As far as I know from my friend at *69 Records, Peter had nothing to do with mixing this song - it's just on his label. And as of a month ago or so, there were no mixes even planned. I don't know anything about this Eric Kupper mix, but I'll ask.

After comparing the extended and album mixes, I like the extended mix a lot better. This is a great song and it will catch on with the dance floors soon. I can imagine this being a big anthem for August. :)

LOL. I just kinda typed that. I didn't realize it was actually a Company B remake. That said, it's good. I hope KTU plays this.

Intrview with SUZANNE PALMER by Franco Martinelli (18-07-2005)
- Hi Suzanne, let's begin speaking of your new album "Home," many of the songs are produced and some written with some of the finest names in house music as David Morales, Eric Kupper, Kevin Fisher, Angel Moraes, Peter Rauhofer and others, how did you choose the songs for the album? - As we were working on "Home" I began to realize that it was becoming a sort of "Whose Who" of House music writers/producers, and I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with so many talented artists. I have to give Peter Rauhofer, the albums' executive producer, the credit for assembling all of the producers and writers. He and I have known each other and worked together since our Club 69 days at Twisted Records, and we have been talking about my full length CD, and the direction it should take, for years. Some of the producers he contacted had songs ready to record, while others wanted to cowrite with me. Peter listened to lots of songs, and the ones he really liked he sent to me to check out. We agreed on the ones that seemed to fit the direction of the album, and recorded those, along with the songs I cowrote.
- How can you describe your music? - I have so many different kinds of music that I like to sing. The common elements tend to be passion, inspiration, and emotion.
- Does some artist of the past inspired you as a singer? - It's a long and eclectic collection. A short list would include Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Johnny Hartman, Patsy Cline, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder and Maurice White/Earth, Wind and Fire.
- You co-written four songs on your last album, do you wrote the lyrics, the music or both? - Each song is different. The producer usually records a basic track, which I will use to create lyrics and melody. Sometimes my words/melody will lead to changes in the track; sometimes the producer will have lyric/melody suggestions to add to what I have written. Each collaborative effort is unique and exciting for me.
- You're not so new on the scene, I remeber you singing in some recordsinthe 90s, how did you begin your career? - My House music career began in the mid-1990s when I sang on a track by a writing/production duo in Chicago, Mark Picchiotti and Craig Snider, known as the Absolute. They took the song, "There Will Come A Day," to Rob DiStefano, then at Tribal Records, and he released it. We recorded a second song, "I Believe," before Rob started Twisted Records, and asked me to come work with them. That's where I first met Peter Rauhofer.
- Do you consider yourself a pop music artist or a dance music artist? And which are your musical roots? - Sort of a pop/dance/jazz/rock/funk/country/latin/gospel artist.
- One of your biggest hits has been "Hide u" on Peter Rauhofer's Star 69 Records in 2001, how important has been Peter Rauhofer in your career? - I have worked with Peter, in one way or another, for most of my Dance music career. My songs on the Club 69 album "Style" gave me my first Dance hits. After Twisted closed, Peter called me and asked me to record "Hide U" for his new Star 69 label. We followed that with "Show Me," and then began work on "Home." His musical instincts are so good. I have been very fortunate to have worked with him for so many years.
- What kind of music do you like to listen? - Good music.
- An artist you would really love to collaborate with in the future, and why. - There are too many to start listing.
- Projects for the future? - Right now I am concentrating on promoting "Home." There has been some talk around the Star 69 office about beginning a second album, but we need to see how this one is received first. And, of course, there is the ongoing, never-ending project my husband, Jeff, and I have of raising our now two-year-old daughter, Nora!
- Thank you Suzanne, all the best.

Star 69 is releasing a promo with mixes of Suzanne's hit & Offer Nissim's "First Time". Are we finally getting a Rauhofer mix of "Fascinated"?! Anyone has any more info about this?

I just downloaded the "Original Version" 5:10 (album version?) of this off Beatport... I like it!
Did we decide if the album mix is the same mix currently making the rounds (just shorter)?

i started listening to the kupper extended a few days ago and i LOVE it... first time i heard it, i kept it on repeat for about an hour! it doesn't even try to mimick the original... but it sure is just as catchy. johnny vicious ... not really a fan. i found his recent style to be "crowded", "noisy" and "over the top". but who knows, he just might turn in a brilliant mix of this. i more excited with what offer and dj paulo will be making outta this... just hope they don't mess with the vocals too much. cause in my opinion, that's what makes this version work so well. i'm hoping kupper will turn in a more elctro vibe in his new mix for this... i loved what he did in the original version.

i'm hoping kupper will turn in a more electro vibe in his new mix for this... i loved what he did in the original version. Actually, the Extended Version might be the Eric Kupper Mix. He is the main person working on the track. The original version is 5:10 and the Extended one is 7:08.

I have heard the Johnny Vicious, Offer Nissim, and Gomi & Escape mixes. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
Fans of the original Company B one may enjoy the Gomi & Escape one. There is a little surprise towards the middle of the song.
I prefer Offer Nissim's mix over the other two mixes though. I like how it is pretty tribal and progressive.
Johnny Vicious' mix is decent too. It's kinda circuit-ish.

it suddenly becomes freestyle?? ... ;) Not necessarily freestyle. But it is definitely something from the original Company B version. By the way, there is a bootleg mix circulating of the Suzanne Palmer one with a "French Kiss" instrumental under it. There was one for the Company B one also.

heard a part of the gomi & escape remix... and ur right, it does use something from the original... now if only i can get my little hands on that full mix. the rest is very dark... shades of junior are really in most the gomi mixes.
heard the johnny vicious ... it sounds like a 90s house remix. (thanks to the blaring syths a la 2unlimited).
offer's is very middle eastern tribal... nice! with just a hint of trance.
i expect (cause i haven't heard it) dj paulo's will have his signature drum sequence again... hot latin tribal suzy!
