Get Back dropped out from era along with two other songs in the top 40, which makes me think such drop outs were relatively common then.

Wasnt there a week back in the early 2010s where 2 songs in the top 10 had the F word in them? Cee Lo Green and Pink?

Chart runs were much quicker back then. I remember somebody said awhile ago that not one of the Beatles' 20 #1 singles stayed on the Hot 100 chart for more than 20 weeks total.
That's 20 weeks. Compare that to chart runs today.

Lady Gaga's debut ("Just Dance") and most recent #1 ("Shallow") 10 years later, took the same amount of time to hit the top.
Just Dance - 22 weeks (January 2009) Shallow - 22 weeks (March 2019)

In this week's Hot 100 chart, Luke Combs' Beautiful Crazy is #23 and Ava Max's Sweet But Psycho is #24. Basically the titles have same meaning but different perspectives.

"Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper hit #1 on the Hot 100 this week. "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga was #1 exactly that same week 8 years ago.

Consider these:
On the R&R pop chart dated 9/7/01, the following songs debuted in the top 40:
Michael Jackson -- You Rock My World Alien Ant Farm -- Smooth Criminal (originally recorded by Michael Jackson)
On the chart dated 10/1/99, the top 40 debuts included:
Jessica Simpson -- I Wanna Love You Forever Robbie Williams -- Angels (later remade by Jessica Simpson)

Enrique Iglesias' Hero and Chad Kroeger's Hero peaked at #3 on the Hot 100 and #2 on Pop, literally months between each other. They are close together on the 2002 Hot 100 Year-End chart, Enrique at #22 while the Kroeger cut sits at #25.
Having two huge songs named Hero in 2002 is a funny thing in itself, due to the climate at the time.
