The Chainsmokers Closer was number 2 on EDM Charts Year End on BOTH 2016 and 2017. But..... the funny thing is..... The number 1 song of 2016 and 2017 for EDM was also a Chainsmokers song.... Don't Let Me Down in 2016 and Something Just Like This in 2017. So basically the blocker of Closer each year was none other than themselves, and..... Closer was also bigger overall than both DLMD and SJLT.

I was looking at Shania Twain's chart history, and she seems to be the queen of having the most songs spending multiple consecutive weeks at one position, and 4 seems to be her magic number!
Starting with Come on Over in 1999, she had 4 consecutive singles on the Hot 100 each spending 4 consecutive weeks at one position!
Come on Over, #58 (1999)
I'm Gonna Getcha Good!, #34 (2002)
Up!, #73 (2003)
Forever and For Always, #36 (2003)
And of course, earlier in her career, You're Still the One spent 8 consecutive weeks at #2 (of 9 weeks total), one of the longest stays at #2 in Hot 100 history.
On the album chart, I also noticed that The Woman in Me had two separate 4 consecutive week runs at #16, although the source I was looking at might have been for the comprehensive albums chart, so the official Billboard 200 might have been a little different.

Aside from WMYB all of 1D's top 10s debuted in that region, all at their peaks.
Lauren Jauregui and Marian Hill collaborated, and both had hits called Down (Lauren with 5H, Marian alone).
Every female #1 on alt this decade became a Top 10 on the Hot 100 (We Are Young, STIUTK, Royals, Team, X&O). Will "No Roots" continue the streak?
The two biggest songs (UF, Despa) of the decade were by one hit wonders (Ronson, Fonsi) featuring a pop superstar (Bruno Mars, Bieber)

The term hasn't exactly entered the mainstream yet, so it's understandable a lot of you don't know it. Still, I have seen it being used plenty of times on Twitter, and it has been gaining traction in the last few years, so you may see this word pop up a lot more in the near future.
