Sorry y'all. I've been a huge p!nk supporter my entire life and LOVE her as a person but this album is just not good. One thing I always loved about p!nk is that she took risks and didn't play it safe and she has succumbed to sub par AC mid-tempo drivel that sounds ten years too late. Hate to be a Debbie Downer but I'm honestly disappointed. The thought of p!nk and eminem 15 years ago, hell - 10 years ago - would be an event and I think the outcome would be MUCH better than this terrible song they just put out.

I don’t know if this is my least favorite album by her, but it’s up/down there. Very dull. “What About Us” is my favorite, but even that I was disappointed with. I think this album will be the point she turns into a “legacy act”.

Nothing on this record is BAD (except Revenge) but nothing is STELLAR either, really.
Better Life is my favorite on first listen and I Am Here is up there, too.
Revenge is awful.

Wow. On first listen, this is incredibly disappointing. I like to give an album at least 3 or 4 spins before I feel I can make an accurate assessment but...this is just very bland and samey. I will say that Whatever You Want & Beautiful Trauma have really grown on me and I actually like/love those now. But, Revenge? That has to be one of her worst singles ever.

Wow. Im shocked at the reactions, on here. Best album since Miss imo.
She has been releasing generic pop crap for years and finally puts out a beautiful thought out project. Going to be an amazing tour too with these new tracks.
Secrets is probably one of her best tracks ever. Barbies, Wild Hearts, I Am Here, You Get My Love, Better Life, For Now, Where We Go.. honestly, only one semi-weak track -- Revenge is not amazing, yet its different and fun..at least it wasnt another blow me, ryg, sw track.
Glad we didnt get another IND FH or TTAL.

Why is Secrets the best thing she's ever done? Other than that though, nothing really captivated me.

Wow the first half of this album does absolutely nothing for me, but the second half has several great moments.
Where We Go's hook was my first positive perk up moment because it's the same as the Nahs in Last Goodbye. Revenge is dreadful.

I too, am a bit disappointed by this album. It's definitely her most mellow, laid back album to date. But it is also very mature, a perfectly respectable direction for a 38 year old woman to go. At least she's aware that HAC is her core audience and isn't shamelessly trying to appeal to fickle pop radio.
Anyway, in regards to singles, nothing really stands out, but Whatever You Want and Secrets seem the most viable.

I like a few tracks, but I echo the sentiments here -- It's just so...boring. This and Can't Take Me Home are easily my least favorite albums of hers, but at least Can't Take Me Home has the nostalgia factor going for it.
On another note, I think they're getting the singles all wrong. I would have led with "Secrets" and then released "Whatever You Want" as a follow-up.

I'm curious how this wouldn't also describe The Truth About Love, which is why I consider it her worst album. My copy of BT hasn't come in the mail yet and I don't expect it to be as strong as Funhouse/IND, but everything I've heard so far is much improved over TTAL.

They meant it rhetorically, meaning they love Secrets and are asking why is the best thing she's done (in the posters opinion) happening now? Can't wait to give it a listen. I loved Try and True Love so I am a basic Hot AC hoe.

Phoenix show is saying no tickets available as soon as they “went on sale to general public”. What a bunch of bull. There has to be some. I hate Ticketmaster. UGH

I think almost all shows are having that issue. All of the presales froze up and bombed, too. Been trying to secure tickets for the last 3 days and every single attempt on every single device I've used has failed, and now tickets are being resold on TM for, at minimum, 3x their original asking price.

This is much better than Truth About Love.
She’s definitely maturing and her last album was our first look into that.
I think I like this Eminim collaboration better than Here Comes the Weekend, but both are at the bottom of their respective albums lol

Like many others here, the album just doesn't hit all that hard. Not sure where to rank it, I think still above TTAL because it's consistent, very pretty and inoffensive throughout (save for the colossal miss that is "Revenge"), and her voice is on fire--she's never sounded so good, and seems to just get better with age (that said, there are moments where I think the songs, especially the harmonies and in the final track, sit a little too high. She hits the notes fine, but it just seems like too much for the instrumental or something).
"Secrets" is my absolute favorite, and what I want from an uptempo Pink song in 2017. That it's the only song with some oomph is a shame. "For Now" is also strong, and I actually quite like "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken"--her voice is especially beautiful there. "Whatever You Want" has grown on me a bit, but forgettable (like much of this album). "Barbies" had potential--I like the sound and structure--but the whole chorus centers around Pink wanting to go back to the days when she played with barbies, and I dunno...I just don't buy that that was a thing? The conceit of the song makes sense, it just doesn't feel very Pink. "I Am Here" is another clunker, and I can't really remember specifics about the rest.
TTAL had some serious highs (hello, bonus tracks!) but far worse lows ("Slut Like You" remains a huge embarrassment), so this middling, midtempo album sits better with me than her last attempt, but I was hoping for something a bit more striking. It's definitely an aspect of who she is as an artist, and that trademark bite is missing here. For how charged up she is about politics and the state of the world today, I think the most surprising--and disappointing--aspect of this album is that most of it feels like it could have been released at any time, by any number of artists (in fact, this is what I would have feared Kelly's next album to sound like if she was still under her original RCA contract).

Quite like the album, the second half is stronger. "Revenge" is a big miss sadly.
"Secrets" is great and would make a great single. I really like "I Am Here", particularly the contrast of the verses and chorus/hook. "For Now" and "Where We Go" are great, both potential singles. Love "What About Us" and "Whatever You Want" has been growing on me a lot. The rest of the album is nice but forgetable. Overall a decent album, but it lacks the same highs as her previous ones for me.
For the singles I'd go with;
1. What About Us 2. Secrets 3. For Now 4. Where We Go 5. Whatever You Want
Doubt it'd go 5 singles deep though.

I pretend Here Comes the Weekend doesn't exist. As for the rest of the album, my favorites are: Beautiful Trauma Whatever You Want What About Us But We Lost It Barbies (feels like the sequel to Good Ol' Days) Where We Go Secrets Better Life I Am Here Overall a consistent effort. Now I just need to get my hands on White Rabbit!

Yeah Revenge is a piss poor single choice SECRETS IS LOVE That, Where We Go, Better Life, or Whatever You Want would have been better follow up picks For Now would also be a good pick for a 3rd or 4th single, not as a follow up 2nd single though
Aside from that, What About Us is the top track of this album for me As a whole, the album is good but not very captivating and no track gives me my normal feeling of edge from P!nk (something like So What, Just Like A Pill, Trouble, etc) and that itself probably seals this album's position as my least favorite album from her to date It's a good album, but not as exciting or fun as the others. Though vocally she sounds great throughout

Curious to see if she'll beat Beck who also released today. His last two albums debuted with 84-87k in sales and I know P!nk won’t come close to TTAL’s debut but a soft 100k opening like Witness wouldn’t surprise me. Neither of their fan bases are heavy streamers so it could be neck-in-neck.

Lucked up getting this in the mail this afternoon. I'm enjoying it, personally. WAU, WYW, Barbies, Secrets, BT, I Am Here, and Better Life are my favorites.
I don't get the extreme hate for Revenge. I can definitely see why they chose it to be the 2nd single.
