Oh wow, that's unexpected. She's on the road pretty much non-stop throughout March and April, not sure what kind of album roll-out she's capable of. But I'm always ready for new Pink. Her last album didn't have a long shelf-life with me, so bring on the new music.

Especially interesting considering she’s taking the Beautiful Trauma Tour around the world through August 11, 2019. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to it. Here’s hoping she does the Halftime Show next year.

^BAHAHA. Sorry, but I DISAGREE to the highest level. It's her best album next to M!sundaztood. It's a beautiful project, just like the name. I find it hard to listen to her old stuff (very trendy for the times), but this new album is classic sounding imo. <3
I was shocked to hear she's releasing a new album, but she does have a lot of left-over tracks. :) CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW MUSIC.
She could very well change the name of the tour, it’s possible they couldn't say anything at the time. Or maybe things changed since the announcement of the second leg. I.e. she decided to release more music. New music will give new light to the tour and entice people to buy those remaining tickets.

I see that the tour is set to conclude late 2019 so I'm not expecting any new music until at least 2020. No

I'm Not Dead M!s... Funhouse
The Truth About Love (for the bonus tracks alone) Try This Can't Take Me Home Beautiful Trauma
BT was just so phoned in for me. Probably, song by song, stronger than some of her other albums, but I'm just over the infinite retreads of her earlier work. Hope she brings something new to the table this time, because she's a phenomenal talent.

I'm Not Dead Miss Funhouse Try This TTAL Beautiful Trauma CTMH
Try This is amazing. Waiting for Love her best song. BT had some stellar moments but relied too heavily on mid tempos and ballads with no edge whatsoever.
Sadly, going by this title, this new album will be that x10.

The first video will be expensive so hopefully she can serve good visuals and themes like she did with What About Us. The era was ruined after the Revenge cancellation. The title track got an amazing video and performance but then she just gave up.
The Secrets video is a crime.

Truly shocked and pleasantly surprised that she's releasing another album so quickly. As far as albums go, Funhouse gets my top vote.

1. Funhouse – Her tightest, most cohesive album. Every song is good if not great and packs an emotional punch. 2. I'm Not Dead – A bit of filler after Track 9, but extremely high highs in “Who Knew,” “Leave Me Alone,” “U + Ur Hand,” etc. 3. M!ssundaztood – The songs lack the tightness of her later albums, but there’s an overall earnestness that works. 4. The Truth About Love – Excellent vocals and mostly good songs, but a bit too factory-generated compared to the authenticity of the above albums. 5. Try This – Solid, but none of the songs are as striking as the standouts from the above albums. 6. Can’t Take Me Home – Not at all representative of where she landed as an artist, but the hooks are decent. 7. Beautiful Trauma – A dull retread of the three albums that preceded it. Well beneath her ability levels.

BT has For Now, which is one of my all-time favorite P!nk songs, but this woman is so talented, she could honestly sing the phone book and I would love it. Even albums I don't love overall (The Truth About Love) has absolute GEMS like Try and Just Give Me A Reason. Can't wait!

I’m super excited for a new album. I didn’t expect it this soon, but damn, her work ethic! She’s had highs and lows, but it’s all exceptional compared to most tbh.

I think my favorite album from her is still M!ssundaztood. She has yet to top it for me, though Funhouse and Beautiful Trauma came somewhat close.
Oddly enough I still haven't listened to CTMH and TT in full.

I wish RCA would release all of Pink's b-sides/bonus tracks on Spotify and digitally here in the US. Someone posted Heartbreaker in another Pink thread and I was heartbroken I couldn't listen to it and I can't find my copy of it anywhere. Grrrrr.
That said, I'm excited to hear what she has come up with for the new album. I'm seeing her at the Fargodome in May, so it's kind of exciting the show may be slightly refreshed with new material!

IND is her best album IMO.
Listening to Billboard Chart Beat podcast.
When she loses on Sunday it will be her 4th in this category. The most by any artist.

IND is her best album IMO. Listening to Billboard Chart Beat podcast. When she loses on Sunday it will be her 4th in this category. The most by any artist. Oof, that kinda sucks. But she's always been up against stiff--and generally stronger--competition. Norah Jones beat her for M!s, Black Eyed Peas for Funhouse, Kelly Clarkson for The Truth About Love... I'd rank Funhouse over the BEP album, but I see why that happened, I guess. Unfortunately BT is at/near the bottom of the nominees this year, for me.
