This was huge on the alternative charts in 2014-15, but the song was first released in September 2013.

This song is AMAZING. One of my favorite rock songs in recent years. I love how soulful it was and am glad it was such a huge hit.

This is probably the biggest surprise hit for me of the entire decade. This never sounded like something radio would play but I was completely wrong. It took some time for me to warm up to this but it became one of my favorite hits of late 2014/early 2015. Sadly it only peaked at #2 but that is still spectacular for this song.

This will be my #100 on the rankdown redo for highly personal reasons I don't wish to disclose. It's one of my most despised songs of the decade.

I didn’t love this song that much until I learned it’s anti-discrimination message then it earned my full support. The live version (medley with I Put A Spell On You) that he sang at the Grammys with Annie Lennox was gold.
