If it wasn't for Taylor and Zayn's surprise release he would have the Top 2 songs on iTunes with 11 total entries on the iTunes 100. King. I can't wait to see the first week estimate.

The freshly released J. Cole set, 4 Your Eyez Only (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope) looks set to bow with a boom on next week's charts, with early forecasts in the 400k-500k region, including a robust streaming component and a nice chunk from single sales. hitsdailydouble.com

The 1-2 of "Changes" and "Neighbors" is MEAN! "Deja Vu" needs to be the single for radio. The story behind it and Bryson Tiller's "Exchange" is interesting. The beat was originally recorded by J. Cole but was given and changed by the co-producer without Boi-1da and Vinlyz knowing and they are PISSED.

A bit underwhelming tbqh. I don't want to hear Jermaine "sing" that much
Everybody Dies and False Prophets should have been album tracks
Change, Deja Vu, Neighbors and 4 Your Eyez Only are the absolute standout tracks imo.

It should have been EP if half filler removed.

Incredible album and storytelling...this is what it's about. Also if he cares to he can repackage with some songs on there if he likes that aren't on the sobum! Interscope got it right just as Columbia did with him

This album would be even better if the heater tracks were tacked on at the end

The album is pretty good. I like how there is a mix of autobiographical content and storytelling from another person's perspective. It feels a little too understated at times, but maybe that's because I'm used to rap/hip-hop albums of today incorporating trap/electro/gospel, etc elements on their albums. I don't think I'll be listening to this one as much as 2014 Forest Hills Drive, but it's definitely better than his first two albums. I love hearing an artist fully come into their own.

I can't help but be disappointed by this, especially after his last album. There are 4-5 really good tracks, the rest are eh. But even the songs where he sounds a mess, at least the instrumentals are nice I guess. I may just listen to those to vibe to.
"Change," "4 Your Eyez Only" and "Neighbors" are easily my favs.

A little bit underwhelming, but I like the umm vibe? of it. I am sure I will keep listening to this in the coming weeks. I suppose if his last album had been bad, I'd have no expectations and would have loved this right from the beginning. Is there going to be a single for this album?

His strongest album by far...no question in my mind that Jermaine is on the fast track to greatness. Each of his albums has been strong but you can tell he is someone who takes this very seriously. He connects with so many people because he brings that classic Hip-Hop golden era style to the here and now, with musicality and BARS. Change is a hip-hop classic and it just came out 2 days ago LOL. Followed by Neighbors...??? and gone. (shoutout to Linnethia Monique!) This man, I swear. I love how he is such a successful rapper, for someone who doesn't have radio smashes that everyone knows (like Drake). He is overdue for one, by the way. Fucking Foldin Clothes is the hottest song about domestic chores because it's really about chivalry and feminism. This is definitely one of the best albums of the year that snuck in at the end.

Just went to listen to Exchange and turned it off after 30 seconds or so and went to play Deja Vu instead.
