This was released as a single from 2011's Stronger. It peaked at #1 at CHR/pop, #1 at hot AC, #1 at AC, #8 in the UK and #1 on the Hot 100. The song's title was changed from "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" to "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," for whatever reason, when it was officially released as a single. I knew this was a smash the second it came on. I don't listen to it now, but it's a good pop song.

Yeah, this was clearly the smash of the album. It did what it needed to do and needed to be released. But it sounds just kinda safe and generic now. That whole pop rock sound that most of her material consists of just doesn't date well. Which is sad, because THAT VOICE. So talented. I can't wait to see what she delivers with the next album and the change of direction she's promised.

Love this still. This was exactly what she needed to do to get another big hit, and it's a really high quality song too. This is one of my absolute favourites of hers.

To be honest, I thought this sounded rather trite when I first listened to it, which is why I was surprised it became as big as it turned out to be (I mean, #1 at both the hot 100 and CHR...). Nevertheless, I was thrilled for Kelly.

This song was such a massive hit back when I was in middle school. I always heard it on the radio and still do today. Definitely, one of Kelly's best songs. I also like the music video too.

Good song, but as with a lot of her material in recent years, it suffers from being too generic and safe.

Love it.
It was EXACTLY what she needed and what radio wanted at that time.

This is easily in my Top 3 Kelly singles. It's such a catchy, feel-good pop song and one of those songs that made 2012 such a great year in music. Also, I love the music video and it was nice to see Kelly having fun with some choreographed dancing.

Don't listen to this super often outside of the occasional gym spin anymore, but it did everything it was supposed to do, and her vocal performance is fire.
But yeah, timeless this is not.

Love it. Still a jam and I think it will be seen as a 2010's classic in the coming years.

Yeah, this didn't age well. I remember it as my 3rd favorite song of the 2012, now it's not even close. I'll always love the song tho plus nostalgia.

I like it and see why it was a big hit (and am glad it was), but it's not one of my favorites from Kelly. I still hear it fairly often, so I think it's fared very well at recurrent in my area (and undoubtedly across the board), but don't go out of my way to listen to it.
