Welcome to another week of the most 80's sounding chart in town. A statement that olds true as Duran Duran hang on to the crown for a second week. Power Metal goes full on 80's with DRAGONFORCE flying upwards two more notches to #2, and cruising their way into the top 5 are AFM's very own Reckless Love with "Outrun". Two songs crash the top 10. Foals with "Wake Me Up up to #8, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers zooming up seven notches to #10 with "Black Summer". Last , but not least we have three debuts. MUNA teams up with Phoebe Bridgers on "Silk Chiffon", Billy Idol bops his way onto the chart with "U Don't Have To Kiss Me Like That" and Dorothy takes the honors of this week's Chart Splash with "Rest In Peace". New music Metal Chart: A lot of news ,and great songs on this week's chart. Chart Champions Cobra Spell hold the crown for one month with "Addicted To The Night". New into the top 10 are New York's very own Wildstreet. They take us back to the 80's Glam sound of Poison and Pretty Boy Floyd with the powerballad "Still Love You". Keep your eye on that one as it cruises onto my weekly chart. Still at #2 two are Grand Design with that unmistaken able Def Leppard/"Mutt" Lange style on their hit "Stranded(In A Heartbreak Zone". Speaking of Mutt Lange you can actually hear him on backups on the new Radioactive single debuting at #10 titled "Move It". Napalm records back on the frontline with Visions Of Atlantis snagging lucky #7 with pure symphonic Power Metal fire on the massive NRGetic "Legion Of The Seas" . If I'm not mistaken that synth riff reminds me of the Saw franchise theme. In the mist of all the noise are Volbeat going power Metal on "Temple of Ekur". and finally got my hands on the 2021 Cobra Spell E.P. .How was I not aware of this band til now?

Another massive chart week. with four more debuts. Once again three different music vibes. Blu De Tiger brings the bass bop fire with "Blondes", Halestorm keeps the Metal vibe alive with "My Steeple". Simple Plan break in with their new single "Ruin My Life with a little help from Sum 41's Deryck Whibley. This is what Poppunk should sound like. Finally racing into the chart are Crazy Lixx pushing out their former #1 song with their new single "Rise Above" getting a chart splash debut at #36. More exciting moves from The Night Flight Orchestra scoring "White Jeans" as their third top 10 hit on my charts. Racing up the top 10 are two of my favorite Alternative rock songs of the moment from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foals and sitting on top of the tower are Duran Duran holding their crown for a third week and partying like the 80's with "Anniversary". We start off April Fool's weekend with DRAGONFORCE scoring their first number one hit on my chart with "Strangers". Tumbling down to #3 are fellow Brits Duran Duran with "Anniversary" and up a slot to #2 and more 80's than ever is Reckless Love with "Outrun". Avril Lavign scores another Top 10 hit on my chart with "Bite Me", and making a nice jump to #7 are Brave Girls "After 'We Ride'". Three debuts this week starting with newcomers TURNSTILE at #60 with "Mystery". We also have JotDog returning to the chart at #59 and way up at #38 is the brand new single from Def Leppard with "Kick". The song is also making some waves on the Active chart, but if you want to see it do some proper damage on a chart you know where to come. . Other songs making nice headway this week include, songs from Laurel, fromis_9, Black Eva and Crazy Lixx racing to #23. with Green =debuts, Blue=Big moves and () is your favorite song's chart peak to date. The Reign of Dragons holds true for another week as "Strangers" holds off the strong competition in this week's chart. A competition which will only become harder to hold off in the weeks to come with songs from big names like Crazy Lixx, Def Leppard (this two songs will fight for the crown at some point), Reckless Love, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foals(these three still have a chance at the crown) ,and the song from Cobra Spell that I'm keeping on the sidelines for time being. I do have three debuts this week. getting started with one of Metal's power packing vocals from Chez Kane with her new single "Die In The Name of Love". I also have the new groovy single from Franz Ferdinand at #60 and grabbing a slot on this week's chart is a new music duo of Mattiel. HOT LIST: .. Let's start off this week's list with an 80's Dream collaboration in the form of Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys doing "Purple Zone". Up next is my new guilty pleasure of the week from YENA (최예나) K-bopping her day away with  SMILEY (Feat. BIBI). This is too damn catchy to deny chart action. The next add comes from a new Indierock band on my radar called modernlove.. I think they might be English. "Follow You";is all kinds of melodic NRG. Love the speed and their accent. The video reminds me of bands like Mission District and Boys Like Girls I was charting about 10 years ago. . and it just wouldn't be a Doc Indie Party Rock list without adding a new 80's sounding Metal jam. Kissin' Dynamite hail from Germany. Metal flashback:
Finally someone uploading all these 80's Hair/Glam Metal vinyls I have in my collection. Doc Holiday were an American Southern Rock band from 1981- 2006. In 2011 they released thier greatest hits compilation From The Vault'. They were called anywhere from Southern Rock to Red Neck Rock n Roll band. The lead singer's vocals sounded a lot like Y&T's Dave Meniketti and were known for thier powerful Guitar hooks and catchy choruses. This is the titles track from their 1986 studio album

We have a reigning DragonFORCE for week number four holding off the competetion. Foals and The RHCPs move up a slot closer to the top, but it's Crazy Lixx who are rising above the rest by getting a quick top 5 song in less than seven weeks on the chart. Perfect Plan with their perfect melodic Rock vibes score a second Top 10 hit and right below the top 10 are Def Leppard and they are getting ready to "Kick" some top 10 ass next week . Getting on to this weeks debut. Starting the chart off at #60 is the Soft Cell/Pet Shop Boys dream team on their new single "Purple Zone" and Nestor bring on a new Glam Metal Power ballad to my chart in 2022. Not only that , but they team up with 80's icon Samantha Fox. Also new to the top 20 is L.As own Dear Boy. I have had the single "(On My) Mind"  more than four months and it sounds more and more 80's each time, so I might keep it around a while longer? We managed to squeeze in one more week into April 2022 and it's a big one. Full of NRG and adrenaline and many songs grabbing a new chart peak. Including Foals who this week stomp out the Dragonforce to grab the crown. I wanted to give "Wake Me Up" number one action ,because it has become my favorite new Foals song. Second is now the very underrated "On The Luna",and third is of course everyone's fav "Mountain At My Gates". Also Crazy Lixx, and Def Leppard are racing up the chart so things we be getting super competitive in May. This weeks also marks the weekend I sent DIAMANTE's "American Dream" packing. The song did twice the damage this year than it did last year so it goes down into my favorite Rock songs of all time list(and that list is packed) Three debuts this week. A little K-Pop from woo!ah! starts off the action at #60. A reinvented version for Simple Minds' "Act of Love" follws right above at #59, and my favorite Pop rocking jam of the moment from beabadoobee "Talk". HOT LIST: Foals are back with "2:am" ,and now that they score thier first number one hit on my charts the sky is the limit for this new indiebop banger.  The New Division is a synthpop band that have made a name for themselves by releasing songs on youtube for years. Thier lastest single "Soft Cell" was picked up by my 80's vibes radar.  Finally we have the british AOR band Radioactive they team up with Robin MCcauley from McAuley Schenker Group on a very Def Leppard sounding track "Move It", and if you recognize the backups that's because Robert John "Mutt" Lange himself is on the track. FOALS hold off Crazy Lixx for week number two. "Wake Me Up" is definitely a song I hope ends up in the top 10 in our own YE Alt RD. New to the Top 5 is "Kick" from Def Leppard, and I'm guessing I'll be charting at least two more Def Lepp songs by the end of 2022. Let's also welcome back Daughtry into the top 10. Defitiely a reminder of great 2000's Rock music. This week we have a new #1 song as Crazy Lixx rises above the competetion to grab the cown from FOALS. Def Leppard up another two notches to #2 with "Kick", and as the rest of our Top 10 is getting somewhat crowded Daughtry steps up 3 slots with my favorite of his comebcak hits "Changes Are Coming". New to the Top 10 is our resident "chugger" from Dear Boy scoring thier first big hit with "(on my) Mind)". As expected "Addicted To The Night" is already in the top 30. The song already has seven weeks at #1 on my Metal charts. Moving on we see four new songs making thier way onto the chart all from returning acts. First up is FOALS coming in with "2am" followed by new comers Nueve Desconocidos who team up with El Ultimo Vecino on "Preguntas". The New York Sleeze Metal is represented by Wildstreet who bring on a Powerballad titled "I Still Love You" to the game, and our chart splah of the week goes to The Interrupters for thier new single "In The Mirror". New music Metal Chart:
Greek Symphonic Metal fire from SHEWOLF hold the Metal crown for second week. Newcomers The Big Deal score top 3 action and I debut three new songs this week. The song at #10 probably has the most interesting background . If you google DeVicious - Not What It Seems my mini review from PULSE of this song actually appears. pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/210987/devicious. That's pretty cool. Also debut new music from Temple Balls. This is a song you could easily find on William Zabka's who plays Johnny Lawrence on the series Playlist. It's that 80's sounding. My highest entry is the new one from Cobra Spell. As I mentioned before Kris is now the new lead singer, but the album is all Alexx Panza and he sounds awesome on this song.

Metal Flashback: (You Make Me) Rock Hard
I can't belive this band is about to hang it up for good. This one is just another of the many Kiss songs that went top 10 on my charts. #7 in 1988 to be precise. This was one of the two new songs featured on 1988's "Smashes, Thrashes & Hits' compilation album. This one plays with the song's title and has a double meaning. Paul throwing his best moves and sounding as perfect as ever.

Crazy Lixx and Def Leppard both with strong holds on the top 2 spots. K-Pop sensations Brave Girls get a new peak at #4 with "After'We Ride'" New to the top 10 is Ghost with "Call Me Little Sunshine" and right outside is El Ultimo Vecino ready to take on the 10 most popular songs on my playlist with thier new hit "Mi Nombre". The biggest chart move goes to Austin John Winkler with "SuperJaded" Not the fiercest Action packed song in town, but I do love the passion in his delivery. Moving on to our debuts. Two songs anchor the chart. First up is Goodbye June with "Three Chords" and one slot higher are Moderatto teaming up with Anahi and a new version of "Nuestro Amor". The week's chart splash goes to newcomers Visions of Atlantis for some symphonic Pirate Metal on their first charting song "Legions of The Sea". This one sails in sounding epic from every angle. Metal Chart spotlight:
Gonna spotlight a few songs from Wes Craven's movie Shocker. Not one aspect of the movie made sense, but it was a wild rollercoaster ride. My favorite aspect of this film was of course the soundtrack which was full of Hair Metal glory. The biggest radio performer was Megadeth's cover of Alice Copper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy", but not really one of my soundtrcak favorites.

The Dudes of Wrath were a supergroup formed by Paul Stanley and Desmond Child consisting of big names like Vivian Campbell, Rudy Sarzo, Kane Roberts, Tommy Lee, Guy Mann-Dude, and even  Van Halen on backup vocals.

HOT LIST: New album/new single.  Journey - "You Got The Best Of Me".  WALK THE MOON will be chart "Giants" once more with this new single. Who else thinks that Intro should have been the big stadium guitar hooks instead?  Edge Of Paradise riding high on this larger than life Symphonic Metal song "Tidal Wave". Just listen to Margarita Monet burn a hole right through the O-Zone layer on that chorus. Could be my favorite vocal performance of 2022.

New music Metal Chart: We have a new #1 compilation of songs from Def Leppard's brand new 'Diamond Star Halos'. The new album is full of all rock styles from Def Leppard's music carreer spanning from the late 70's til today. Highlights include "Fire It Up", "SOS Emergency", "From Here To Eternity" written by Rick Savage, "Lifeless" (featuring Alison Krauss)", "Liquid Dust", but any Def Lepp fan will find a handful of favorites on this new album. Moving on we have a new single from Reckless Love continuing thier joureny into today's popular Synthrock sound with "Turborider" featiring Ollie's larger than life Metal screams glazed over a fast and thrilling Synthrock vibe. The Metal screams are a bonus. Next week I'll debuts the new single from one of Rock's brightest new talents with a song that should have been the new Top Gun theme.

Def Leppard holds the crown for a second week. Cobra Spell takes "Addicted To The Night" top 5, and we have one new song in the top 10. "All of The Good Ones" is the second top 10 hit from Weezer's 'Van Weezer' which is easily the best era they have had on my chart in years. Three debuts brings about another exciting week on the chart. At #60 we have fromis_9 returning this week with "DM". I have no idea what the title means, but it's another disco bop for the ladies ,and it featuires some Mariah Carey like yelps towards the end of the song. . number 59 is the newest from Stand Atlantic. Continuing their Popunk reign with "hair out". Big news for Walk The Moon as they gives us our Chart Splash of the week with "Giants" and this one is a keeper. HOT LIST: My list still looks kinda small, but believe me it will grow this Summer. Sounds like Fitz and The Tantrums might be wanting to back on track with thier latest single " Sway". Really has a cool Summer vibe to it too. let's all scream along with Brendon on Panic! At The Disco's latest "Viva Las Vengeance" That "shut Up and Go To Bed" line could it be the lyric of the year? and last, but not least is Demi Lovato. I grabbed this one the first listen. Demi and her band are defintely rocking it up with this jam. "Skin of My Teeth" sounds as fierce as Demi can get. Cool,wet music video. Looking hot and cranking a guitar.

Finally they raised the volume to where it should be. Much better viewing experience.

New music Metal Chart: That Def Leppard  LP is way to powerful to lose its crown just yet. This week music that should be on Soundtracks is the theme. First we have Temple Balls taking "Strike Like A Cobra" top 5. This should be on the Cobra Kai series. DeVicious still in the top 10 with thier actual soundtrack song for their online comic about 5 female warriors. It's on thier comic book series "Doll House". Here's the link for more info. www.devicious.band/dollhouse-comics. Last, but certainly not least is the brand new single from Chez Kane. Hot off her world tour with Crazy Lixx she has released a new single on Frontiers Records titled "Power Zone". I've seen the latsest 'Top Gun' flick and this should have been the theme song. It is fierce, loud and oh so powerful with Chez Kane's louder than life vocals. I even suspect the band behind the music to be Crazy Lixx. If not at least Chrisse Olsson and Jens Lundgren who are the band's premier guiatarists. They are the ones who provide the band with those Night Ranger like solos and this song certainly has a powerful guitar solo which easioly takes the center stage.

My top three favorite songs of the moment remain the same. Cobra Spell moves up a slot to #4, and I have been noticing that my latest #1 Rock songs have zoomed up to the top 10 in less than 5 weeks. I'm guessing the newest from Deff leppard, Panic! At The Disco and even Demi will do the same, but only time will tell. My top 10 does welcome two new songs First Reckless Love scores a third top 10 song from "TurboRider' and Simple Plan getting a nice comeback hit with "Ruin My Life feat. Deryck Whibley". Moving on to this weeks debuts. The action starts off with the iconic 80's AOR band Journey. Their new single "You Got The Best of Me" slots nicely at #60. The song that debuts at #59 is somthing of a special entry. I spend a lot of my time watching Hot Wheels case unboxing on Youtube, and for some reason the song "We Come Alive" from Waykap feat Emmi always shows up as background music. idk maybe it's one of those "Freebees" one can use without copyright issues. The point is after hearing it so much it kinda got stuck in my head. It's already a nice little indiepop song, but yeah let's see what effect constant listening has on this song's chart run? The Chart Splash of the week has to be the glorious screamathon from Panic! At The Disco, and there it is grabbing a quick slot at #43. I have an Easter Egg hunt of the week for you all: can you find 10 songs in a row that feature female vocal power? I didn't plan it that way. They just kinda fell into place. HOT LIST: Pale Waves are back with "Lies". The first single off thier upcoming album ‘Unwanted". The style? fast take no prisoners Powerpop with Stand Atlantic, Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato vocal power.  Reckless Love is one of my favorite 80's MEtal revival bands of the moment. Lately they have jumped on the synthrock train, but decided to release a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "Bark At The Moon" Still has a bit of 80's synth in the progression, but doesn't loose an ounce of fiercness. last , but not least is Phoenix.  I have been excited for thier new material since thier last album 'Ti Amo' . I was particularely fond of that album's retro 80's synthpop style. The new single "Alpha Zulu" seems to wanna keep riding that wave wave. You can catch the first glimpse of the song's MV right here. Intersting concept how they make those calssic art paintings come alive while making them sing along to the lyrics. Which proves it's a bop.

New music Metal Chart: Got a great new AOR sounding band debuting thier first single "Why Are You Calling Me Now" The song's rock style is a forgotten art on Rock Radio that sounds like Journey, Night Ranger, Bad English and Def Leppard all rolled into one. Wonderful melody featering Journey's Deen Castronovo on drums and Jason Scheff (longtime lead vocalist of Chicago). Of course this is on Frontiers Records and is sure to cruise into my top 60 in the weeks to come. My highest debut comes from new comers Eva Under Fire. This one is currently on Mainstream Active as well. Loving Eva's Vocals on this one. has tha power of a DIAMANTE song. Perfect for my Hard Rock cravings.

Getting off to a new weekend "Kick" holds the crown for a whole month. Brave Girls up a notch to #2 with their sights on the crown. Can they do it or will Cobra Spell strike first kill? One new song in the top 10 from Nestor teaming up with Britain's very own Samantha Fox. Samantha once held the crown on my 80's charts with the classic poprock hit "Touch Me(I Want Your Body)". HOT LIST:  my pick hit comes from the Swedish band Beverly Kills. 'Amour Fou" is the first single of thier debut album. Making a quick cruise over to the chart is the AOR super group Generation Radio with "Why Are You calling Me Now". These guys kow exactly what the 80's AOR fans crave. You can hear the hooks coming a mile away,and with Jason Scheff on lead vocals and Deen Castrovo on skins the song grabs you from the start. Finally we have Sweden's own CRASHDÏET teaming up with Steel Panther's  Michael Starr on the elctrofying "Power Line".

Def Leppard closes out June with a 5th week at #1,  and aside from song #2 from Brave Girls switching places with song #4 from Cobra Spell the Top 6 pretty much hold their ground. One new song in the top 10 from Halestorm pushes Reckless Love "Eyes Of A Maniac" back to #12 , but the band is already back on the chart with a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "Bark At The Moon" which shares debut honors with Pale Wave's brand new single "Lies" splashing thier way onto the chart at #54. As some songs reach their twenty week on the charts mark we could be seeing a big clean up for July in the weeks to come. HOT LIST: Ozzy Osbourne - Patient Number 9. This one is taking off like a comet on the Active charts so I'm skipping it's initial time on the Metal chart and prepping it for it's Top 60 debut next week. Elena Ferretti brings us a furure Eurobeat Resident on the chart with "Everyday Everynight". As always Elena brings to life the classic Eurobeat style of the 90's with her heavenly vocals tones and, laces it with some powerful and aggressive chord progressions. Last, but not least is Eva Under Fire - Blow feat. Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills). This song from the actual Active charts is right up my powerful agressive feamle singers alley.

HOT LIST: Starting off this week's adds is Devil's Train. They have been around for about 10 years + with their fierce Biker Metal groove. There latest single "You promised Me Love" touches a bit on Whitesnake's 1987 style and is catered made for my chart. The K- pop genre represents with Cherry Bullet. Their latest single "Love In Space" is all about those retro 80's sounds. Finally I add a very un Bloc Party sounding song titled "If We Get Caught". Sounds very different for them , but in a very good way. It even has female back ups.

An action packed chart is what we have this week. Up first a brand new #1 from the Netherland's Heavy Metal band Cobra Spell. It's a shame these youngtsers couldn't hold it together. As of now guitarrist Esmée van Sinderen and drummer Léonard Cakolli have also left the band.  The top 5 songs are strong enough to hold down the fort, but we do have Chez Kane scoring her third top 10 by grabbing a slot at #10. As "Kick" relinquishes the throne "Take What You Want" gets ready to go Top 10. We have three new debuts this week and Demi Lovato grabs Chart Splash honors with "Skin of My Teeth" this is the first single from her upcoming Lp 'Holy Fvck' which hipefully has many songs I can enjoy charting. Eurobeat's own Elena Ferretti is back with the ultra NRGetic "Everyday Everynight" and anchoring the chart is new music from Bloc Party with "If We Get Caught". Continuing with the summer's exciting charts I have decided to not feature the Summer Slayer tags . There are just too many of them this year. The top four songs are holding strong with Cobra Spell wearing the crown at #1. Nester with Samantha Fox go top 5 and we do have two new songs in this week's top 10. Laurel scores her second top 10 with "Wildside" and iat snagging #9 and frankly idk what's taking Active chart so long with Def Lepp's newsest single, but I'm certainly not sleeping on the fierce sounding "Take What You Want". Three strong songs are right below the top 10 including Chez Kane who slips out, but I'm pretty sure will return to the top 10 in no time. Getting to this week's debuts. We hjave Cherry Bullet returning to my charts with "Love In Space" at #59. Phoenix bringning on the New Wave retro sound with "Alpha Zulu at #54 and the highest debut goes to Disturbed, and thanks to Active's quick charting of the song it looks like "Hey You" will also skip over it's test trial on the Metal Chart and splash right into the top 50. This jam is also revving up to be one of my favorite Metal songsof the year. That chorus is FANTASTIC and oozing with mean shout along value. I know it is Disturbed part 18, but this one could part the red sea with that chorus. Don't forget to scroll down to the HOT List where I have rediscovered a couple of songs from 2017 that I never got a chance to chart. HOT LIST: A couple of rediscoveries from 2017 start of the action this week. First up "Darkness" from Suntalk. The song has that type of 80's Modern Rock atmosphere that never goes out of style.  The Drums - Kiss Me Again is a little more on the fun side, but still laced with enough catchy BPMs and vocals to give it a valid Alt Rock vibe. Finally Echosmith return with  "Hang Around". Not sure if this is from an upcoming LP or just a Summer single, but it will surely hang around my chart for a while.

This week's new #1 is a song that is popular with a die hard Metal head as much as the casual rocker. Which ever you are you know you have this iconic Metal jam somewhere in your home. It needs no introduction, but I'll give it one anyway. (Drumroll) Metallica - Master Of Puppets. My only new entry of the week comes from Ozzy Osbourne teaming up with Tony Iommi and bringnig on that classic Black Sabbath style on "Degredation Rules".

The chart continues to be under a spell. The Cobra Spell as they hang on to #1 for a third week. Nestor score thier first Top 3 with "Tomorrow" featuring a vocal cameo from Samantha Fox. The Interrupters score another top with the NRGetic "In The Mirror". Moving on to this week's debuts. We have The Drums making thier chart debut with a song off thier 2014 LP 'Encyclopedia'. Also coming in is a fomrer #1 song on my Metal chart from Shewolf with "Lone Wolf". Jimmy Eat World also grab a slot on the chart with "Somthing Louder".The week's Chart Splash belongs to Germany's Devil's Train. This band has been around since 2012 and somehow has flown under my radar. Thier latest album "Ashes & Bone' has a gritty hard rock sound with some southern rock style. The second single "You Promised Me Love" takes a page right out of Whitesnake's 1987 Powerballad style. The song will surely take my chart by storm by grabbing a quick slot at #51. Also check out ex Jezabels Haley Mary shoot up 7 notches up the chart with "Fall In Love"Definitely one to watch. HOT LIST: Germany's Tokio Hotel is feeling a bit nostaglic now days and return with a nice retro indiebop titled "When We Were Younger.". The last time I charted this band was with "Love Who Loves You Back". A #1 hit on my charts. Weezer is back and sounding more "Beverly Hills" than ever with "Records". Me charting this one is a no-brainer. Starcrawler -"Roadkill" sounds like a fiercer version of Hole on acid. finally jumping from one chart to another is Chez Kane with her new single "PowerZone"

Once again Heavy Metal rules the top 5. Weather it be in a Fierce head banging form or Powerballad form it is strong ,and this week Def Leppard holds two slots in the top 5. Chez Kane makes a return to the top 10 with "Die In The Name of Love" and just below her are Panic! At The Disco ready for thier slot at the top. More top 20 excitement continues including Disturbed who in just three short weeks leap from #35 to #20 with thier new single "Hey You". Another big chart move from newcomers Devil's Train is "You Promised Me Love" and this week I also feature two of thier past songs in my Weekly Metal chart. Man they are fierce. HOT LIST: New music galor so let's start out with my favorite new song of the week "Where Do We Go From Here?"and it's no surprise it's from MisterWives. Mandy Lee and the boys have been setting my charts on fire since they first charted with "Reflections". This time they jump on the RetroWave train with an insanley catchy bop waiting to take this chart by storm. The single comes in a double a side format with the song "Easy" so I will be charting both side by side. You can never have too much MisterWives. Our next song is "What Feels Like Eternity". New music Metal Chart: As Metallica reigns for another week Ghost takes a strong hold of the top 3 with thier single "Spillways". Two songs make thier chart debut. They are from Devil's Train and are about 10 years old, but I didn'tkow of the band til just this month and I'm doing some catching up. I've been listeing these two none stop. One song is from thier selftitled debut album 'Devil's Train" and the second from the aptly titled sophmore LP "II. Both would have definitely been smash hits on my chart ,and both feature perfect videos for the song's titles. The style? Think Velvet Revolver with a Nickleback sounthern animalistic Rock vibe.

Cobra Spell sit high on throne for a fifth week. Def Leppard pretty much keeping any new song from the #2 position and new to the top 5 is Pop act LAUREL with her bop "Wildside". Panic! At The Disco finally crashes the top 10 with "Viva Las Vengeance" and right ouside the top 10 is YUNGBLUD ready to score his first top 10 hit with "The Funeral". We have three debuts this week. Starcrawler and Suntalk both scoring slots in the bottom half of the chart while The 1975 grabs Chart Splash honors /"out of The Blue" tagg with thier latest single "Part of The Band". TBH I begin to appreciate the song more and more each time I read negative reviews about it. Plus I love strings in music. A lot more excitement as many songs score new peak postion this week. Tribute Flashback tracks: Olivia Newton-John

This week we lost a very special musical artist. She has contributed many songs to the Country charts, but also set the Pop charts on fire in the early 80's. For years Olivia Newton-John was my favorite female vocalist. These are two of my favorite Olivia Newton-John songs. Both of these songs were produced were produced by John Farrar. He wrote many of Olivia's #1 singles on 'Grease' and 'Xanadu'. Including the John Travolta duet "You're The One that I Want".

Cobra Spell holds off not one, but two Def Leppard songs for a 6th week at the top. However "Take What You Want" is still destined for that crown. A lot of excitement and movemnet in this week's chart with four shiny new songs sending four tired ones home. Those debuts include new music from three of my chart favorites Tokio Hotel, Echosmith and Dorthy with this week's feal good, Chart splash, rocker of the week "A Beautiful Life". The fourth debut is from newcomers Giant Rooks with some really good sounding Indiepop "Morning Blue". We also have big excitment as two new rocking jams crash thier way into the top 10. First are Kissin' Dynamite hailing from Germany and scoring thier first top 10 with some cool sounding 80's retro Hair metal in the frorm of "What Goes Up". Our second new top 10 tenant is Ozzy Osbourne soring his I want to say 15th top 10 hit on my chart with "Patient Number 9". This song for some unexplanatory reason has embarressingly been toppled from the Active crown spot by an embarressing song by Shinedown, and that's all I'm gonna add about that. First off one week at the top of my Metal chart and Ghost cruises on over with "Spillways". It's just to perfect too pass up. Up next new Eurobeat from Mandie NRG. Mandie Rem goes backto the days when the Eurobeat Posse (yours truly included) ruled the Eurobeat Forums. Her new single "Bad Man" is riding on risque lyrics ,and an ultra catchy synth progression that could only be dreamt up by Nick Festari. My next add is the new one from Panic! At The Disco. This band is releasing singles from thier latest LP faster than "Viva Las Veangence" 's chart run, but I'm loving this one. Sounds like Cheap Trick wtrote a song for a Broadway musical. and still one more new add as Sumo Cyco returns with "Cyclone".

New music Metal Chart: Reckless Love step up with "Turbo Rider" to take the crown from Ghost who make a dissapearing act and reappear on the HOt LIST. Over The top Power Metal is back and no band does it better than the WARKINGS. Thier new single "Monsters" is off thier new Lp 'Morgana' and it features new artist Morgana Le Fey doing the vocal growls last heard from Melissa Bonny (The Queen of The Damned). Also new to the chart is the brand new rocker from New Years Day "Hurts Like Hell". A powerful and fierce female sung Metal jam that is right up my alley.

This one was a hoot. It mixes Hair Metal with Disco in mind blowing ways. The lyrics were the funny part as they have a double meaning. The silver lining was Steel Panther's Michael Starr adding that David Lee Roth vocal style to the song. It was just a fun song not to be taken serious on any surface , butt your Unanus.

HOT LIST: Reckless Love cruise over in 80's style with the title track off thier latest album 'Turborider' . Billy Idol makes a glorious return to the charts with 'Cage'. last, but not least we have more new music from Chez Kane's upcoming album on Frontiers Records label. Produced by Crazy Lixx frontman Danny Rexxon. The band actually provides the music on the album ,and  this time Chez takes her vocals to the limit on "I Just Want You". The MV like always is an ode to the mid 80's sounds of Lta Ford, Vixxen, Samantha Fox. Chez sports her best 80's Metal look as she straps a guitar much like Lita Ford album covers. I couldn't have dreamt up a better cover art than this.

New music Metal Chart: From their new album BRACE FOR IMPACT on Frontiers Records comes brand new music from AOR kings Perfect Plan. Our next debut proves that the Americans also want to jump on the 80's Metal Train with Wings of Steel. It's thier debut album and it has that Hollywood Metal club sound of the 80's. The style that gave bands like Ratt, Mötley Crüe and W.A.S.P. thier start, but at the same time coming off as a seond coming of 80's Iron Maiden . Don't know much about the band yet, but that lead singer is tearing a hole in the heavens with those vocals. In the middle of it all Crazy Lixx step up to take the crown with thier lastest Powerballad "In The Middle Of Nothing".

Once again the British Metal kings hold the crown for a third week. My top 5 remain unchanged except for Kissin' Dynamite who move up one step closer to the top with "What Goes Up". New to the top 10 is Yungblud edging in with "The Funeral", and big leap into the top 20 from new artist Eva Under Fire. The band gets a little help from Spencer Charnas and score nicely with "Blow". Tears For Fears just outside the top 10 waiting to get that fifth smash. The band have hit my top 10 four other times with "Everybody Wants To Rule The Wolrd" (#3), "Head Over Heals" (#3) and the two that started it all "Change" (#9), and "Pale Shelter" (#9). On the other hand they are also a big #11 band with "Sowing The Seeds...", "Break It Down Again" and "Shout" which inched up to #11 before falling off the chart completely the week after. It can go either way for them? Enough chart history let's get to this week's debuts. Blu De Tiger returns with a new bop "Hot Crush Lover" at #60. Weezer also return with "Records" and scoring chart splash of the week is Chez Kane with the title track from her new LP "Powerzone". There could be a few Chez Kane songs flaoting around the top 60 before the end of the year.
