The action is hot on this week's top 50. Bad Wolves and DIAMANTE keep a very strong hold on #1, Kobra and The Lotus crack the top 5, and Samantha Fox scores her first top 10 hit in more than 15 years. This week also gives the Interrupters their first top 10 hit on my chart with "She's Kerosene". Debuting this week are three future hits. The highest of those goes to Ghost for their soon to be #1 song, "Dance Macabre". I purposely wanted to debut it around the same time it appeared on the official Active charts to compare movements of the song on all three charts. Mine, Media base and Billboard Active. Another debut checks in at #59 from Judas Priest called "Never The Heroes" Finally, Pale Waves returns with "Noises". Look for this song and The new Ghost song, to duke it out for the top spot in the weeks to come. Elsewhere on the chart we have both The 1975 and Kim Wilde making their top 50 entrance with "TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME" and "Kandy Krush". Music Videos galor and some fan art will round out the chart's Highlights. Green= debut song. Blue =hot moves. ()  indicates songs highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: . . . .Big Variety on this week's adds. Death Cab For Cutie returns with  "Northern Lights'. This song could easily turn out to be one of my favorites from them? Cary Brothers - "Crush" has a smooth Indeirock sound with some 80's melodic vibes.  Franz Ferdinand has had two big hits on my 2018 charts, so it's only natural I bring on "Lazy Boy".  This song really showcases that new wave sound I dig from them.  For my last add we go to the peppy colorful world of K-Pop, for GFRIEND's new single "Sunny Summer' .This one has a perfect summer vibe and is very poppy and uptempo.

We only have one new debut on the Metal chart, but it's a sure shot crossover from Godsmack. This sounds more like the reason I chart Godsmack to begin with. Not as Fierce as their 2000's music, but damn catchy. Elsewhere on the chart, we find Ex Vixxen vocalist Janet Gardner breaking the top 5 with "Rat Hole"and as expected DIAMANTE holds down the #1 position for yet another week. Making her the Rock goddess of both Metal and Top 50 chart.

Great to see "She's Kerosene" in top 10! Also "Body Talks" on top 15 and "Over My Head" near top 20!

This week Power Ballad heaven is in full gear as both Bad Wolves with DIAMANTE and Armored Dawn continue their string grip in the top 2. "Do What You Want" continues its baby steps into the top 3 and Breaking Benjamin crash the top 10 with another stronger than usual Power ballad called "Torn In Two". Plenty more strong moves within the chart from Ghost, Pale Waves, DIAMANTE and new additions to my top 50 discography Panda Cult, with their first top 40 hit "Blue Angel". Four songs leaving , means 4 new songs and that action starts with Hair Metal rockers Crazy Lixx coming in at #60 with "Wild Child". A quick K-pop debut about summer called "Sunny Summer" shines in at #59 and #56 are Top 50 favorites of mine BROODS with their new single "Peach". This week's highest debut was reserved especially for Soft Cell. I think it's been an eternity since they last hit the music charts, so I'm proud to bring on "Northern Lights" all the way at #51. Also in the top 50 are new songs from Confidence Man, World Radio and Pale Waves making a nice eight notch jump with "Noises". New fan made sleeve art from yours truly and a few MVs and you are set for the second week of October 2018. Green means Debut song. Blue means hot mover, and () is song's highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: . . . .Lately I have been having a bit of trouble finding new music to add. Today's Alt chart is all bey dead and I love Active rock, but I don't want my top 50 to be just another metal music chart. I got plenty of great stuff on the HOT List now, but I don't wanna run out either. This week I'll start off with new music from Kitten called "Pink Champagne". I think the blonde on bass is hotter than Kitten herself, but why choose when I can have them both? Plus I love the 80's Dark Wave look of this video....and yes it has a guitar solo too. My next add is something really different. Still has that sleek 80's vibe I crave. They are called The Night Flight Orchestra and they have that early 80's AOR rock sound you would find all over the top 40 in 1980-84. think of bands like Survivor, Le Roux, Steel Breeze even harder Toto. Killer song. This one is called "Turn To Miami".

I got one new debut in my top 10 New Metal music chart. It's the new song from LORDI. THis one is called "Naked In My Cellar" and with brand new outfits that look F U C K I N great ,they are just in time for the Halloween. The music video also looks like something out of a delicious b-movie grind house fest. I know they starred in 2008's 'Dark Floors', so I hope they turn this concept into a movie as well? Also for the witching season are LIPZ with my brand new #1 song called "Get It On".

Great debut for Ghost and nice to see Disturbed movin' up! Great chart!

We have a great chart this week. It's time for a summer clean up so  we say hello to 5 new songs, but first let's welcome a brand new #1 song, by Fitz and The Tantrums, who after a steady 25 week run are finally here at #1 with "Do What You Want". Now on with those debuts. at #60 is "Jumpsuit" . This is the second top 60 hit for Twenty One Pilots on my personal chart.  The only other hit here has been, their first single "Holding On To You". At #59 is this week's Indiepop Spotlight artist Carey Brothers with "Crush". We got some new Poppunk vibes with "From The Outside" at #58. The second highest debut goes to Swedish Metal band LIPZ with their ready for the Halloween season single "Scary Man". My highest debut skips right over the HOT LIST and jumps right into the top 50 all the way at #43. It's the "here's hoping for a comeback hit" single from The Smashing Pumpkins called "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)".  With all this movement 3 more songs get a nice push into the top 50. Including the brand new Soft Cell single "Northern Lights". A boatload of new Music videos, including one for "Dance Macabre" and some Sleeve art will round out this week's chart highlights. New Metal Chart: Its a slow week for new metal as Godsmack takes over the #1 position with "When Legends Rise". Blame it on that fierce Live performance of the song.The only new song in the top 10 is the returning song from Fozzy. The biggest jump is from Lordi with their new single "Naked In My Cellar".

We have another great chart this weekend before this Halloween. First things first. "Do What You Want" stands its ground against it's hard rock contenders, holding on to the #1 position for a second week. DIAMANTE ,with a little help from Bad Wolves moves back up to #2, and we have one new song in the top 10 from Disturbed. The excitement continues with no less than 10 songs making strong strides up the chart. These songs appear in blue fonts and include new music from Panda Cult, Salems Lott, Ghost and James Bay who after 21 weeks below the top 20 takes his "Pink Lemonade" up to #16. I figure it's the best song I'll ever like from this guy, so it might eventually go top 10? Now on with the debuts. We find two of these below the top 50. The first is from French New Wave band Indochine and their album track "2033'. The second debut is from Heavy Metal band W.A.S.P and there revamped version of "Hold On To My Heart' which is basically a remastered version of the same song, and my highest debut is from The Canadian band Zolas and their perfect Poprock song called "Bombs Away" . This one reminds of vibes from The Cars and Fountains Of Wayne. "Bombs Away" is a fantastic song that will eventually find itself in my top 10 songs of the week. HOT LIST: Starting off the new adds with the first single off Stephen Pearcy's new album 'View To A Thrill'. It's aptly called  'I'm A Ratt" and has that 1984 Ratt sound. Stephen has had a tremendouz year on my chart, so expect this one to do equally as great. Next up is ,Halestorm returning to my chart with single #2 called "Do Not Disturb". Great rock vibe, sexy lyrics, and A Halloween season ready music video. New K-Pop form ex Wonder Girls member, SUNMI caught my ear with her new Hi NRG single "Siren". A good mix of modern and old skool dance vibes. My last add is a new single from Paulina Rubio called "Suave Y Sutil". I charted a lot of her songs in the 90's and early 2000's. This one sounds more like those years. She still sounds and looks great too.

That's exactly what I got too. I'll probably debut that one as soon as next week to keep the Spanish sung songs vibe alive on my chart.

The first week of November brings a rather slow moving chart. There is more action in my HOT LIST, but we do have a returning #1 song from Bad Wolves and DIAMANTE, bringing their total to 5 non consecutive weeks at #1. "Do What You Want" slips back to #2, "She's Kerosene" breaks top top 5 and my favorite Spanish Rock band of the moment  Zoe cracks the top 10 with "Hielo". None of the new songs debut in top 50, but we do have three new debuts. As promised, we have "Suave Y Sutil" the new Paulina Rubio single at #57. Godsmack  comes in at #54 with "When Legends Rise", and the highest debut this week goes to Halestorm's new single "Do Not Disturb". She replaces her own hit "Uncomfortable". It's been a while since the band saw top 10 action on my chart. 2013 to be exact, so she is long overdue. I believe "Do Not Disturb" will break that cold spell. Elsewhere in the chart 3 songs are cracking the top 50 for the first time. "Crush", "Paradise Is Waiting" and the hot new single from Broods called "Peach"

HOT LIST: I got no less than 4 new songs seeking heat on my adds list this week. We start off with a new band SYML and this new single called  "Clean Eyes". If you like that 80's vibe from the Killers and Dreamcar, than this is your new favorite jam. Panic! At The Disco are back with "High Hopes" I didn't flip for this one at first , but 5 repeat listens later and here it is.. My next add is a surprise to say the least. It's from I band I was sure never to chart again after "On Top Of The World". Youtube threw this promo at me a few times before I realized it was Imagine Dragons. So this week I'm giving "Zero" the biggest ,Blue October ,bop-a-thon ,rip off award and giving it a quick add to my most played tracks of the week. The biggest surprise of the week is new Christmas theme music from Def Leppard called "We All Need Christmas". The style is Def Leppard acoustic style like "Two Steps Behind", but it does build up to the guitars towards the end. Beautiful melody and message for the holiday spirit.

We have big excitement on this week's chart as Bad Wolves and Diamante hang on to #1 for a 6th nonconsecutive week. Right below is "Sail Away" from Armored Dawn. That song actually moves up a notch. Which is really no surprise as Power ballads tend to stay on my chart for a long time. Just ask Def Leppard, Hinder, Kiss, Aerosmith, Creed,Winger ,Warrant. That's a never ending list. Next up is James Bay. He scores his first Top 10 hit  on my chart with "Pink Lemonade". That one also gets award for bop of the year. Moving on we come to our four new debuts. First is Imagine Dragons at #60. Yes I'm charting the band. Why? 1. "Zero" is a song from a movie soundtrack; which is probably why it sounds nothing like their last charting songs. 2. It's very uptempo and fun, 3. but the real reason I clicked with it on first listen is because it has a bit of Blue October's "I Hope Your'e Happy" vibe going on.  At #59 is SUMNI coming in with some delicious dance bop called "Siren". SUNMI is an ex Wonder Girls member. A band who has also had success on my chart. The second highest debut goes to SYML and their new song "Clean Eyes". Very new wave 80's like Killers and Dreamcar. My highest debut was a surprise to me, but I have been spinning this one nonstop. It's Panic! At The Disco" with a belated entry for "High Hopes". With a debut at #45, it's already outperforming "Say Amen (Saturday Night)". It's already the end of 2018, so I can easily cruise this one over to 2019 and make it a big hit on my chart. Elsewhere in top 50 is Halestorm making the biggest leap on the chart from #53 to #35 in one week. New sleeve covers and Videos galore. Green means new song. Blue means Hot song. () is son's highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: This week come the first wave of what could become some of the biggest hits of 2019? Right off the back let's get into new music from Saint Motel and a song off their Saintmotelivision b-sides called "You Fine". This one is "My Type" part two. Perfect for my 80's style craving chart. My next add is single #5 off "After Laughter". Paramore are back with "Caught In The Middle".  How about some Def Leppard style rock which isn't from Def Leppard? Its the next best thing as Grand Design-the Def Leppard of Sweden get ready to break hearts with "Love Shouldn't Hurt". It's the second single off "Viva La Paradise"  LP and has a perfect Powerballad vibe. The next add is Robert DeLong's latest charting single "Revolutionary". Robert DeLong enjoyed a big hit on my chart a few years back with "Don't Wait Up". He is like the Thomas Dolby of the 2010's. My last add is cool 80's Throwback track from New Kids on The Block and some help from friends, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, NBN, and Salt N Pepa. No movement at #1 as LORDI hangs on with "Naked In My Cellar". That one also has a great chance of crossing into the top 60 in the weeks to come. Two debuts this week are very powerful songs. At #10 is the new Slipknot song "All Out Life". That one is also scoring big on the Active chart. My highest debut is yet another song of FOLLOW THE CIPHER's debut LP. "Titan's Call" song is melodic enough to also cross into the top 60 like "The Rising" did  a few months back.

What goes up must come down, but you be glad to know I have my ear on another single off "El planeta imaginario" called "Siempre". I tend to stretch out the album eras to keep charting my favorite acts on through the years. Pau will surely stretch out into 2019.  ;)

Bad Wolves and DIAMANTE hold on to #1 for a 7th week. "Sail Away" still remains a contender for a two time #1 song, but ABC, Interrupters and Zoe are quickly gaining on the top 2 songs, making these three the ones that will finally topple the top 2.  The only song entering the top 10 this week is the hot Glam rock jam from Struts and Kesha called "Body Talks". Moving on to the debuts-We got four this week. At #60 we got new retro pop from New Kids on The Block, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Salt 'N Pepe and NBN. At #57 we got a 5th single off Paramore's 'After Laughter" album. This one is called "Caught In The Middle". Robert DeLong's new song gets a quick entry at #53. I just realized this one already fell off the actual Alt top 40, but since I do not dig his new single, I'll stick with "Revolutionary" for while longer. Just outside the top 50 comes the highest debut and new track from Fickle Friends called "Bite". This is my Indiepop "pick hit" of the week. Elsewhere in the top 50 are fast rising songs from Paulina Rubio, Godsmack and New Artists SYML, who make the biggest leap within the top 60 with "Clean Eyes". HOT LIST: . . Let's start off with the new single from Muse, called "Pressure" because it's the best song I've heard from them in these last two years. Old school sound with guitars and all the goods that make for a great Muse song. My next two adds are crossing over from The Metal Chart. First are The Black Moods with some ultra cool rock in the form of "Bella Donna". A lot of people are comparing this one with Led Zeppelin(again), but I'm sick of the Zeppelin comparisons. It's just great Rock n' Roll. Also cruising over is LUCIFER with "California Son" and finally I'm adding a song from A Perfect Circle. I'm excited about this song for two reasons. It's the first time I can easily shoot a song from this band into my top10, and I also think it will become huge on the Active and eventually Alt charts as well. The song has a big epic instrumental production ,reminding me of such massive hits like "Second Chance" from Shinedown and "Disarm" from Smashing Pumpkins. So lets give a "hip hip hooray" for "So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish".

Since I usually chart a lot of songs from my Metal Chart, I decided to showcase my favorite songs from the AAA chart. This is the AAA only charting songs top 10 chart, so "Northern Lights" which would be my actual #1 song is left out. "99" and "Shame" are also left out from the chart. My #1 song is also one I'm charting from Milo Green. This one reminds me of smooth grooves from Sade and The Motels.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

This week Martin Frye and the rest of ABC dethrone "Hear Me Now" to become my new #1 song. The interesting thing about "Living Inside My Heart" is that its a song from 2016 written to sound like it was from the 80's. It's from the soundtrack "Fly (Songs Inspired by the Film Eddie the Eagle)" and the third single I chart from this album. The excitement in the top 5 continues with both The Interrupters and Zoe stepping up a notch closer to #1. We also have Ghost making a nice jump from #11 to #7 with "Dance Macabre" Moving on to out three debuts. Two of them are charting ion the Active chart. One is "Pressure" from Muse and the other one the hot new single from Black Moods called "Bella Donna" . This is also my favorite new Rock song of the moment. My last debut is the new Rock ballad from Def Leppard. "We All Need Christmas" is the first Christmas theme song making its way onto my personal charts. Watch for this one to zoom up the chart as Christmas draws near. The band is also accepting submissions for a lip syncing MV. I'm not too crazy about those, so I'll stick with the original. I did however make a new sleeve for the song, cuz the original is really bland.  Also keep your eye on DIAMANTE's latest singles "Haunted". It cracks my top 20 , but is also debuting on The Active rock chart this week. A few original fan made sleeves and Music Videos will round out this week's chart highlights. Green = Debut song. HOT LIST: . . . Three new songs break onto my HOT LIST this week. Two acts I've charted before and one is a new Dreampop band called Wild Nothing breaking ground with "Letting Go". This is the kind of Indiepop I go for. Creepy MV but great song. I'm also adding a new track from Oreja De Van Gogh's 'El Planeta Imaginario' . Its a beautiful Pop Ballad called "Intocables". The MV is fan made, but anything is better than staring at the Album art for three minutes. This one reminds me of past hits like "Rosas", so it should become another big hit for them. Last but not least are Frightrockers Lordi. Their new single "Naked In My Cellar" has made its way from my Metal Chart onto the gallows of my all genre top 60. The last time I charted the band was in 2006 with "The Chainsaw Buffet", but their highest peak on my charts has been the top 20 hit "Hard Rock Hallelujah".

This last week of November gives a brand new #1 one by first time charting act The Interrupters. "She's Kerosene" has been burning up the Alternative charts for the past few months, and is now my new #1 song. I dare you to sit still while this bop is on.  Elsewhere is AOA, another new act scoring their first top 10 hit with the bubblegum k-pop hit "Bingle Bangle". This one has been climbing up my top 20 for a while now, and has finally hit that tilt button. We also got three new debuts. The highest debut goes to Indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie . I've charted this band quite a few times in the past, but only once in the top 10 with "Crooked Teeth". Their new single  "Northern Lights" sounds like a song that could easily go top 10 as well. At #59 is the Swedish Glam Metal band Grand Design. Their design is to sound like Def Leppard ,and their new single "Love Shouldn't Hurt" hits the bullseye. HOT LIST: . . . The last time I remember charting the British Metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, was with "Sleepwalking".  Five years later they have caught my ear with Psychedelic Rocker called "Mantra". My next add is what you might consider an 80's Novelty song. I already charted "Bubblegum" by Confidence Man, now feast your ears on the Quirky Funky/groove of "Don't You Know I'm In A Band". Gotta love that bassline. From Quirky 80's we go to flawless Indiepop from Echosmith. This band has been a hit machine on my charts since they first hit the music scene with the multi charting "Cool Kids". They are back with that same irresistible vibe on this new album track simply titled "18". My last add is from ex Vixen lead singer, Janet Gardner. "Rat Hole" was already a big top 10 hit on my Metal Chart. The next single "Candle" has a great metal ballad vibe ,and sounds ready made for my weekly top 60.

JOURNEY




Journey is an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1973, composed of former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch. The band has gone through several phases; its strongest commercial success occurred between 1978 and 1987. During that period, the band released a series of hit songs, including "Don't Stop Believin'" (1981), which in 2009 became the top-selling track in iTunes history among songs not released in the 21st century. These are my top 10 Journey songs of all time. BTW, All these went on to became Top 10 on my personal charts

1. Don't Stop Believein' (Billboard HOT 100 #9)
No introduction is needed for this classic. If you don't already know the lyrics by heart you won't be able to sing along. 



2. Any Way You Want It (Billboard HOT 100 #23)
The first time I heard this was on Caddyshack. I didn't even know it was on the radio at the time, but my dad would play this album all day long. 



3. Open Arms (Billboard HOT 100 #2)
two of the biggest songs off "Escape" never got official music videos. They used these live promo videos for the songs. This song is hailed by many as the greatest Power ballad ever. Do you agree?



4. Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) (Billboard HOT 100 #8)
Really Billboard? #8? This was #1 material.


4. Stone In Love (Billboard Mainstream Rock #13)
This was the second track on "escape" Maybe the fact that it followed "Don't Stop Believin' made me love it even more, but i do recall this getting a lot of airplay on album Rock radio stations like KLOS. Neil Schon really lets lose on the guitar solo.



5. Only Solutions (Billboard Mainstream Rock #22)
From the 1982 movie "Tron" this was the big song off the soundtrack 



6. Ask The Lonely (Billboard Mainstream Rock #3)
Off the "Two Of a Kind" soundtrack, this was all over rock radio in 1983. Tis a shame it was never released as an actual single. I think it would have been huge on HOT 100?


7. The Party's Over (Hopelessly in Love) (Billboard HOT 100 #34) (Billboard Mainstream Rock #2)
The big rock hit of the live "Captured" album was actually a studio recording of the song. This song along with "Separate Ways(Worlds Apart) is one of Journey's biggest charting songs on Mainstream Rock peaking all the way at #2. It is one of my favorite shout along with Steve Perry songs.



8. When You Love A Woman (Billboard HOT 100 #12)
This Power ballad easily secures a slot of my Top 10 Journey songs of all time. This was also the last time Journey with Steve Perry scored a hit on the Billboard HOT 100. For many the big Journey comeback hit which also ended up being their swan song.



9. Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' (Billboard HOT 100 #16) 
This one is off "Evolution" and became their first top 20 on the HOT 100. It was also the hit that made the band realize it was time to replace Greg Rolie, the band's original lead vocalists with Steve Perry. 



10. Just The Same Way (Billboard HOT 100 #58)
Anchoring my top 10 is another song off "Evolution". It was the last big radio hit featuring The band's original vocalist Greg Rolie. Steve Perry is featured on the chorus.

Interrupters hang on to #1 for a second week with "She's Kerosene". Zoe is closing in at #2. The Struts with a little help from Kesha jump into the Top 5 with "Body Talks". Elsewhere in the top 10, we got K-POP sensations AOA up to #7 and El Ultimo Vecino finally cracking the top 10 with "La Noche Interminable" Translates into "The Never Ending Night". Before we move on to the debuts, one song makes a surprising jump into the top 20. It's the Metal band Salems Lott with "Shattered To Pieces". With its early 90's Power ballad style of Metal bands like Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, Pretty Boy Floyd or Faster Pussycat, This is one to keep our eye on. O.K. it's Debuts Time. A little 80's magic debuts at #60 from The Night Flight Orchestra with the track "Turn To Miami".. This is a serious 'Miami Vice" theme song here. Number 59 is the second single from Kitten titled "Pink Champagne". Kitten is also one of the best Looking New Wave bands since Missing Persons. At #58 is new Indie pop/rock from Wild Nothing called "Letting Go" and the highest debut goes to "Mantra" from Bring Me The Horizon. Elsewhere in the top 50 are three songs jumping in from 51-60. First, Muse are back with "Pressure". W.A.S.P is also making a surprising move to #57 with "Hold On To My Heart", and the Def Leppard taking their Christmas theme song "We All Need Christmas" up 10 slots to #41. This ballad should be very close to Top 10 by Christmas. I only have one new sleeve to debut for Night Flight Orchestra's song , because the rest have official album art, but I do have a load of MVs to showoff. Once again Green = Debut song. Blue = Hot Mover, and () is song's highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: Not too many songs are grabbing my interest this week, but there is that new Tom Bailey solo album. Tom was the lead singer of 80's icons Thompson Twins. His album 'Science Fiction" is already spawning a few songs onto The PULSE top 100. That one I most liked is "Shooting Star", so watch for that one to come to a PULSE top 100 near you. My second add this week is newcomer Keuning and his single "Boat Accident". Don't know much about this guy except that he is the guitarist fro The Killers and that his song sounds like a cross between Fountains of Wayne, Cars, Zolas, and CRX. That alone guarantees it a future slot on my top 60.

For second single from Tom Bailey album I decided between the title track and Shooting Star. I ended up picking Science Fiction. Shooting Star will be his 3rd single in my chart.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

This A relatively slow week in Music, but we do have a new #1 song from Mexican Rockers Zoe. "Hielo" is the first single off "Aztlan" and this week it becomes their third #1 single on my chart. The other two big #1's have been "Via Lactea" and "Sone". Both holding the position for 3 weeks in a row. We also have two songs crashing into the top 10. At #9 comes Pale Waves' fourth single "Noises". This one is my favorite so far, and at #10, as promised is Salems Lott leaping in with "Shattered To Pieces". I'll most likely chart a few more songs off "Mask Of Morality" in 2019? This week's chart is also affected by the big leap from Def Leppard's "We All Need Christmas". This particular song has a few other songs stepping backwards. This didn't stop two new songs from entering the chart tho. At #60 is my former Metal Chart #1 song from Lordi titled "Naked In My Cellar" and at #57 is the comeback return of Joan Jett and The Blackhearts with their new single "Fresh Start". I also got the world premier of her music video. I added a few more music videos to make up for the lack of debuts and I always showcase my HOT list adds too. I'll probably squeeze in one more chart before I start tallying up the top ? songs of 2018. I'm not sure how many I've charted, but I'm guessing a cool 150+. I'll start pimping the link for that list as soon as I start posting some of the big 2018 extras that missed the top 60. That should be sometime next weekend. Ok you know the drill? HOT LIST: As always at the end of every year I start going back to my favorite past albums of 2018-2016 and choosing album tracks as possible future charters. This week I rediscovered my Defiants album from Frontiers Music label. A couple Powerballadd and rockers caught my attention, but  "We All Fall Down" sounded most like Bon Jovi 80's Metal. A fast moving melodic guitar fest with lyrics about getting up when we have been kicked down. If I can't scream long to this one, then I'm surely starting to lose my voice.  [img src="http://images.proboards.com/tongue.gif" alt="" src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png" class="smile"] Next I'm shifting to straight out Synthpop from the band  W O L F C L U B ,and the song "Can't Stop Falling In Love". If you dig on bands like CHVRCHES and LGHTNNG, then this one is for you. Another one of my favorite albums of 2018 was the Pretty Boy Floyd comeback album. this one is also on Frontiers Music Label. I think I'll switch things up a little and chart the powerballad "We Can't Bring Back Yesterday". The song's title really hits me, because no matter how much I would want, Glam Metal  or Rock for that matter back on the pop charts it won't be returning any time soon. Finally my favorite song of the week is actually a AAA only charting song from St. Paul and The Broken Bones called "Apollo". Just like with Milo Green's 'Move, this song just suddenly hit me like a bolt of lightning with its smooth Blue Eyed Soul vibe. and the reason this hasn't been sent to Alt would be? Too sophisticated maybe?

Technically I'm done with 2018. This is the last chart of 2018. The YE chart will be based on last week's peaks. As far as Chart action goes we have a brand new #1 from The Struts. I really liked this song from the get go, but the version with Kesha sounds even better. This will also be the last #1 song of 2018. No new songs enter the top 10, but we do have 3 songs cracking the top 20. Including Def Leppard's "We All Need Christmas" which leaps 14 slots to #12. We also have 4 debuts this week. Two of those are being played on the radio. One from new artist Keuning and another from Alt icons A Perfect Circle. I have never really gotten into their music, but "So Long and Tanks For All The Fish" could change all that come 2019? More new music debuts from heavy metal band LUCIFER and their fast paced "California Son". The highest debut goes to one of my all time favorite Spanish Pop rock bands La Oreja De Van Gogh. Even after replacing Amaia Montero they still have that flawless pop sound. This is evident in my new favorite song of the week "Intocables". A few music videos and sleeve art closes off the 2018 year. See you all back here in 2019. HOT LIST: . . A few songs get ready to start off the 2019 year with a bang. First is one form AFI called "Trashbat". THis is off thier new album 'The Missing Man", and its a song any AFI fan should love.. With nothing promising coming out from Letters From The Fire's latest album  I decided to go back to their last album with Alexa Kabazie and rediscovered "Bruised". This one has more of a Powerpopballad vibe and none of that elektroniks bull that "Comfort You" had. My last add for this year is yet another track off Pale Waves latest album. This one is called "One More Time". The music video shows them all as a band again. I prefer this to just Heather making weird faces. The song is very uptempo and perfect for my chart.
