Who The Hell Is Leo?✔So good. 'Store' is a little whack honestly but everything else is quality to so f**king good, specifically the first half of it. Yeah, this is another collection of flawless pop gems from her. "Cry" is the highlight for me. "Higher" is right up there too. The only one I waffle on is is "Store." I actually love the lyrics, production, verses and especially the pre-chorus. And I actually think the lyrics to the chorus are hilarious, but something about the melody/singing pulls me out of the song. Literally my favorite album released this year, and to think it's only a collection of B-sides. "Cry", "The One", and "Higher" are immediate standouts. "Store" is probably my least favorite but even that one is fun. She can truly do no wrong. Side B is great! Especially "Higher" and "First Time". The only song I don't care for is "Store".

Yeah, I hated "Call Me Maybe" (and "Good Time") so I had never bothered to check out the new album aside from the two singles (both of which I liked much, much more than anything she did prior to this era), but I thought this rankdown would be a good opportunity for me to give her a listen. |
