Can't believe Look Alive scored so high. No surprise that Baron and I have identical top 3's. Why does aero dislike MNIH so much?

If I hadn't known it was by HS when I first heard it, I would've thought it was some nameless band chasing a quick buck. In fact, I did know it was by them and I didn't connect the dots because it was so far removed from their signature sound that makes them so great.
It's decent enough; it just seems odd that everyone thinks it's their best song.

Honestly, #2 was a tie between MNIH and "Serotonia". I just decided to side with "Serotonia" because it needed the help more. "Wolf" as #1 was never in question.
Obvious #1 is obvious, but it's a good top choice, all the same.

It's a time between the PATD and LP albums, but in light of Chester's passing, I think we should rank the LP album instead. 8 albums got 1 vote each and are hence eliminated; California, Pollinator, Art Angels, Folk Hop N Roll, Every Where Is Some Where, Junk, Crooked Teeth and Hydrograd. They can be re-suggested though! Following the new Catalog rule, Meliora is also eliminated and transits to catalog status. Entering the ballot are albums from Gorillaz, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes and Slowdive. I totally forgot about the Highly Suspect rankdown. Damn.
Just submitted for One More Light. It was fairly easy to rank because there weren't many standouts, and my last two places were set in concrete. My #1 was an easy pick, but like 2-5 got a bit difficult.

I think I might actually participate in this one. I'm still surprised by how much I like Talking to Myself and I didn't hate Heavy as much as most, so I might actually end up liking this album. I'm interested to hear how a LP pop album sounds too.
Also, I've never listened to a full Linkin Park album before, so now's as good a time as any.

Submitted mine. This album ,had a huge, Dr. Indie repellent tag on it. Which of you chose this?  I sure didn't. This was like Linkin Park trying to sound like Coldplay trying to sound like Chainsmokers. "One More Light" was the only song I could say I really liked. It reminded me of when Coldplay used to be good, but the rest of these? I could have easily squeezed half of these songs between #'s ,9-10 |

Also a reminder, you can still vote for what to vote for next rankdown even if you don't want to participate in this rankdown! That way you can prevent your favorite albums from being eliminated in the ballot, or decide the outcome for the next rankdown! (just put NA for each track if that's the case)
EDIT: I should also mention, if you're just going to vote for next rankdown, indicate NA for every track.

Despite the album being a turn off for fans of the band who prefer their harder songs, 10 people still participated in the rankdown, which is more than say, the Blackstar or Spirit rankdowns held earlier in comparison.
