This is a really solid album, I will most likely submit for this.

Boy, did I pick the wrong songs for that Brand New album. :kii: You guys liked the slower ones? BTW, I think these were all first listens for me, anyway...

This album is alright. Didn't really get my dancing nor anything. "Sugerboy" was an NRGetic discovery.

Took me long enough to listen to this. Couple of really good discoveries, in particular.
Part of me really wishes we had ranked "Fast Slow Disco", though.

came into this album without too many expections, but honestly this album is really nice, lots of well written songs. i'd say it's a weak 3.5/5 for me.

I'll give extra time for this one since I'm pretty much busy now. Results will start on Friday night after around 9PM or 10PM ET.

when the pawn, if you're wondering why your album suggestions are ineligible, I'm only allowing suggestions for newer albums that are less than 18 months old. We reserve suggestions for older albums for catalog album rankdowns, which occur once every five album rankdowns.

"Fear the Future" is horrible.

Oh dear, neither of my bottom two were in the bottom five. Hopefully they don't survive the next set

I doubt anyone is surprised to see the #1. I was hoping that "Happy Birthday, Johnny" would sneak into the top two, though, that song was incredible.
It's about time that we're doing A Deeper Understanding, too.

happy brithday, johnny was beautiful, by far my favorite first listen. obvious but great winner. the title track shouldn't have been in the top 5, no idea how it made it all the way up there

To those who enjoyed happy birthday Johnny, please also check out another great song it reminded me by another talented artist: Regina Spector - “New Year” youtu.be/yuhTqBLMtvo

"Happy Birthday Johnny" beating "Sugar Boy" is just wrong.
I would have preferred Ghost's album, but I hear that War On Drugs has some cool 80's vibe her and there, so I hope that is true?

I’ll definitely do The War On Drugs ranking. An absolutely flawless album.
