Gwen Stefani - Cool (Remixes)

Richard X confirms on his website (www.blackmelody.com/x_releases.html) that he will be remixing this track, Gwen's next single off of her album.

I tend to like his mixes of late...hopefully he does a good job on "Cool."

i absolutely LOVE this song, it has real 80's sound. what can i say, it's definately Cool, haha. I would really love to hear a Jacques Lu Cont Mix of this.

Haha, defintiely different avatar you got there Disco Dude. I wouldn't mind Mynt remixing this. Actually, I wouldn't mind anyone remixing this; a remix will really lighten up.

Photek also remixed "Cool." It is the only "Cool" remix listed on the import CD that comes out Aug 29.

British music site, EIL has the cover art listed for "Cool..." and I have to say that I'm really not feeling it. I hate when they use video stills as cover art.

Okay after hearing the Photek Remix and the Richard X remix - I like the Photek version better. The Richard X isn't as hard hitting as his past remixes and it seems real toned down. Its got more of an 80s vibe than the Photek mix but not as much dance floor power.

Where can I buy or get a good recording of the Richard X mix? I actually prefer it to the Photek mix but the copy I have is not as good sound quality.

i heard only Photek, which doesnt sound good to me

The Photek mix is just not...good. "Cool", a very electronic song, I find, just isn't that dance-friendly.

I thought it was weird when I heard they were remixing it. It's hard to think of where to go with a song like this. The song itself pretty much covers every base that needs to be covered, it's very difficult finding anything to add with regard to beats or anything to it without making it sound horrible.

Is it good sound quality? If so, any chance of a pm? I agree that the original mix of this is outstanding! So 80's retro sounding. But, alas, being a dance DJ there is the demand for a REMIX, and although Photek has a bit of a retro sound to it, I feel let down with it. Richard X does the original a bit more justice.
