- Our country queen Carrie Underwood is able to air out her laundry for a little while longer, as she moves on to the Elite Eight. "Dirty Laundry" wins 13-7. This spells the end of aerodynamite's run in the tournament.

Marshmello f/ Wrabel - "Ritual" (lyhom, #3) vs.
Zedd & Alessia Cara – “Stay” (MTSChart21, #2)
- MTS is able to stay alive with his last song. "Stay" was up for a lot of the matchup, but "Ritual" started to cut things close towards the end. Unfortunately for lyhom, "Stay" beats out "Ritual" 11-9, eliminating him from the tournament. 

Starley – “Call on Me” (Ryan Riback Remix) (Sam, #7) vs.
Loreen – “Statements” (Az, #4)
- With two songs remaining for Sam, he is forced to lose one to Az, who had the most left going into the Sweet Sixteen. "Statements" wins 13-7.

Anja Nissen – “Where I Am” (Az, #1) vs.
Tinashe – “Company” (HamedM1, #2)
- Az's domination continues, as he places another song into the Elite Eight. He automatically gets one into the Final Four since it will be "Statements" vs. "Where I Am", which is both good and bad for him (he could have had two!). "Where I Am" wins 11-9.

Carly Rae Jepsen – “Roses” (Sam, #2) vs.
Cold War Kids – “Love Is Mystical” (Zedd, #4)
- The power of Carlegend comes to an end. Cold War Kids are able to move into the Elite Eight with "Love Is Mystical" taking the 11-9 victory. Sam ends up losing both of his remaining songs this round.

The Veronicas – “On Your Side” (Az, #2) vs.
Katy Perry f/ Skip Marley – “Chained to the Rhythm” (Disco, #4)
- And the Az domination is forced to halt at two songs, as "Chained to the Rhythm" is able to defeat "On Your Side" fairly easily, 13-7.

BadXChannels – “One Car Funeral” (wheatsquares33, #3) vs.
Bea Miller – “Song Like You” (HamedM1, #4)
- Probably the most surprising song left to me, wheatsquares is really thriving this tournament where he normally doesn't do well (which shouldn't be the case!). "One Car Funeral" is able to drive into the Elite Eight with an 11-9 victory. It's the end of the road for HamedM1.

Mya – “Coolin'” (cynthia rose, #3) vs.
Lauren Alaina – “Same Day Different Bottle” (bigfan101, #8)
- In our only blowout of the Sweet Sixteen, we are forced to say goodbye to Lauren Alaina and bigfan101 for that matter. "Coolin'" wins 14-6.
