It would actually be interesting to see a record like this: most weeks in the top ten while only having charted in one position within the top 10 for its entire top 10 run. For example, song going from #11 to #6 and spending 5 weeks there and then leaving the top 10, never to return. Me, Myself, & I last year? it was 7 for a long time. Sadly, no :( 12 - 10 - 8 - 8 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 8 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 17 You're correct in that it spent a lot of weeks in the same position, however in three different top 10 positions Didn't CBTO spend like ten weeks at #9? 11 - 10 -9 No point in looking up the rest of its run as it has already broken the rule of the record (which I just made up and isn't an actual real record and never will be but)

Swedish House Mafia - Dont You Worry Child - Believe it went top 10 spent 4 weeks at 6 then dropped out of top 10. It was also at #7 for at least two weeks. The idea is that it only charts in one of the top 10 positions for its entire top 10 life. For example, we'll pretend that Chandelier holds the record 23 - 17 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 13

Will this count? Jennifer Lopez - Im Gonna Be Alright spent 5 weeks at number 10. And thats the peak of that song.

What about most weeks in the Top 10 with just one week in the Top 5 but the rest of its weeks at #8-10? Where My Girls At by 702: Peaked at #4 for 1 week (4 weeks in the top 5), but spent 19 weeks in the top 10. (I know it's not exactly what you wanted) 90-69-15- 9-5-6-5-*4*-5-9-7-9-10-8-9-9-7-6-7-8-9-10-12-14-14-15-15-16-14-16-15-13-15-17-19-31-28-26-34-30-41-48 The best example I can think of is Ride: 10-9-8-6-6-7-7-7-6-5-7-6-9 (1 week in top 5, 13 weeks in top 10)

I don't know if it's the record but When the Lights Go Out by Five spent 7 nonconsecutive weeks at its peak of #10.
