Following the smash hit "Leave (Get Out)," "Baby It's You" made a decent splash in many territories. 17. When Love HurtsAVG: 14.39130435 MED: 15 SD: 4.271886218Final Score: 10.92004836Notes"When Love Hurts" was the lead single from the tringle EP, III.. It was JoJo's first commercial release since "Sexy to Me" three and a half years prior. It is also her first single to be released to mainstream radio since "Disaster." It was quite a musical step for JoJo as well since "When Love Hurts" is a blend of house and dance. The song made a few dents in the charts and was a hit in the clubs. It was also intended to be the lead single from JoJo's third LP, but the sound of the LP was changed and the songs from the tringle were left off of Mad Love.. I can't stand BIY - mostly because her vocals are so buried in the mix. And again the generic 2004 sounds that I loathed then and now

16. How to Touch a GirlAVG: 15.69565217 MED: 14 SD: 6.313296089Final Score: 10.72725953Notes"How to Touch a Girl" was the second official single from JoJo's second album, The High Road. Despite its perverse title, this track actually is quite the gem in JoJo's discography, calling back to the soulful sounds of the 50s. While being well received from critics, the track unfortunately fell flat coming off of the hot tails of "Too Little Too Late," performing rather poorly on the charts, mostly in part due to lack of promotion from her label as the beginning of her troubles started here. The track also makes lyrical references to Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love for You." 15. Mad Love.AVG: 15.13043478 MED: 14 SD: 6.662679967Final Score: 10.46711934Notes"Mad Love." was the first iTunes promotional single from JoJo's third album with the same title. Boy, is Pulse consistent with this one! "Mad Love." is very similar to "How to Touch a Girl" since both tracks recall that soulful 50s ballad influence. "Girl" was also the first track from The High Road to leave the rankdown whereas "Mad Love." is the first track from Mad Love. to leave the rankdown! "Mad Love." was one of the first tracks JoJo wrote for the album which sparked the influence and sound the album would later have, as well as the album title itself. JoJo recalls that the phrase "mad love" is "a phrase that I use in my family a lot, we say, 'I love you madly.' That's that 'I love you through it all, I love you as you are, I love you in a crazy way, in a deep way, in a way that other people might not understand.' And that's how I feel about music, and that's what my relationship is with my fans, and it's an intense, passionate love." The Way You Do MeAVG: 13.13043478 MED: 14 SD: 6.730556831Final Score: 9.693767933Notes"The Way You Do Me" was the second of the three promotional singles released during the iTunes countdown to The High Road. The track is heavily influenced by r&b and hip-hop. She even performed this song as part of a special on Sessions@AOL, which aired across Walmart, of all places. The track is also hearalded as one of the highlights of The High Road according to many critics. The track is produced by Swizz Beatz. Speaking of which, whatever happened to him? 13. In the DarkAVG: 14.13043478 MED: 13 SD: 8.609214661 (highest)Final Score: 9.590583324Notes"In the Dark" was the lead single from JoJo's first mixtape, Can't Take That Away from Me. It premiered via Rap-Up in August 2010 with a music video released shortly after in September. Fun fact about the video: it was originally shot in color, but changed to black and white to better match the tone of both the song and the mixtape. Upon the track's release, JoJo remarked that she felt it was a big change in sound from her previous material because "it's a very sensual record and there's an undertone of sadness to it." The track got some curiosity spins from multiple formats, but failed to chart anywhere. "The Way You Do Me" is a jam. That totally should've been the second single and I think she would've got another hit off The High Road instead of tanking her momentum with "How to Touch a Girl" (pretty song but not single-worthy).

"The Way You Do Me" and "This Time" were the most obvious singles with her even performing them everywhere, but they went with boring ass "How to Touch a Girl".

daw, my #1 snatched :'( I was holding out hope it could steal a top 10 spot. "Speaking of which, whatever happened to him? He has kind of disappeared." Trapped in the same relevancy black hole as his wife Alicia, I guess But no seriously, he's still working, he's just not the big name he was before. So a lot of album tracks, or stuff that doesn't make a big splash on the charts. I think he does some brand promotion too (but I don't follow him closely enough to recall the brands). But funnily enough, he didn't win his first Grammy until 2011, and I'm pretty sure few people were checking for Swizz by then.

Mad Love. IS JoJo's best song. Better vocals than her teenybop pop-rock fluff and random mixtape tracks. I am SO mad.

Honorable MentionLike That"Like That" is a Ciara-esque album track from The High Road. According to many critics, it is one of the standouts of the album. It's an r&b ballad with hip-hop influences. JoJo still performs it regularly and it is a standard on her current tour where she mashes it up with "Like This.," a similarly titled track on Mad Love..

12. DemonstrateAVG: 13.82608696 MED: 13 SD: 7.655373478Final Score: 9.544049993Notes"Demonstrate" is a song of many woes. Roughly a year following "Disaster," the Jumping Trains project was revamped after critical acclaim from JoJo's cover of "Marvins Room" by Drake. Because of the acclaim, JoJo went back into the studio for more recording sessions with Noah Shebib (aka 40). This landed the track "Demonstrate," which was released in July 2012. Unfortunately, for reasons that are still fuzzy, the track was scrapped as a single shortly before its commercial release and the Jumping Trains project was halted and altered for a third time. A music video was also shot for "Demonstrate," but was never released. Honorable MentionRight on Time"Right on Time" is a track from the #LoveJo2 EP. In between the mixtapes, JoJo released a few EPs of covers, however the #LoveJo2 EP featured an original track called "Right on Time." The track is co-written by JoJo and produced by Noisecastle III. It samples the song "I Love You Always Forever" by Donna Lewis, who later got pissed for some reason because of the sample.

11. Coming for YouAVG: 14.13043478 MED: 12 SD: 7.263259648Final Score: 9.358634057Notes"Coming for You" was the final promo single from The High Road being used in several promotional spots for the album. Its main push was to promotional style radio stations and for a brief period of time, it could frequently be heard in derpartment stores, grocery stores, retailers, and restaurants across the US. Undoubtedly the strangest way to promote the album, but you know, it was probably the only way JoJo was going to get another single at that time due to her shitty record label. It is considered a fan favorite from The High Road along with "This Time." Honorable MentionLose Control"Lose Control" is a track feautring JoJo's vocals from Timbaland's third album, Shock Value II. Other than the star-studded "If You Dream" from the More Than a Game soundtrack, this track was JoJo's first big featured credit on someone else's album. JoJo's vocals are also present in the background in "Timothy" from the same album.
