A friend of mine heard a dance mix of "Speed Of Sound" by Coldplay in a club a short time back, and he was wondering about the name of the mix and any sort of info like that.
And I'd be interested too.

It downloaded for me in 20 minutes. I'm on dial-up. Have you tried using a download manager like Free Download Manager? You can set it up to use 90% of your bandwidth so you can download better.

The sample sounded hot, but it turned out to be a disappointment. He should have worked more of the vocals in.

I enjoyed the remix very much and I think it awsome but yes I agree lots of the lyrics were cut... When I get my Tracey Cole version I'll let you guys know what I think of it.

Hi guys...
I got the Tracey Cole version of Speed of Sound and it contains all the lyrics and it's very well done! The sound is the traditional almighty sound but it's missing just a touch of NRG, but it's great! I do like the Karl G mix better though!

Yeah its Almighty vocalist Tracie Gold (Tracy?). Almighty loves using their own vocalists on dance covers--namely Belle Lawrence who sang a dance cover of "I Think We're Alone Now" and "Never Trust A Stranger." Lawrence also did vocals on a dance cover of Jazz singer Katie Melua's "The Closest Thing To Crazy."

I didn't know almighty did covers of Miss INdependent and White Flag? weird. As if those songs didn't have enough remixes by themselves...

I absolutely love the David X Remix. It is easily among my top 5 favorite remixes of the year to date... actually, it's what caused me to like the song, as I found the original kind of bland.

I didn't know almighty did covers of Miss INdependent and White Flag? weird. As if those songs didn't have enough remixes by themselves... Seriously! Well, I only know of one remix for "White Flag" (though i'm sure there's more); but "Miss Indpendent" had multiple Junior Vasquez, Hani, Mauve, and Shanghai Surprise - what in the hell gave Almighty the idea that it needed a cover?!? I do like the versions i've heard of songs that don't have their own remixes, but otherwise I prefer the originals. Their "Speed of Sound" is pretty decent (i liked what Tracey Cole/Almighty did with that Gareth Gates song "Anyone of us" a few years back), though I still have to download the David X. Is he related to Eddie X?
