Small market CHR-Pop station WNKI 106.1 Corning, NY has a Flashback Lunch. Now they're playing "Fly" by Sugar Ray featuring Super Cat.

There are other CHRs doing this. WJBQ/Portland, ME does it, and WMNP/Newport, RI does the "Old School Ride @ 5. It is pretty common for CHRs to do this in small and sometimes medium market CHRs, and in Hot ACs of all shapes and sizes.

My Pop station does this! From 12-1PM on weekdays, they alternate a hit from today and an older hit from the early 2000s or older into the playlist. Great way to discover some old hits.

Yeah. I should probably double-check them since I haven't actually listened to them in a couple years, but mine has had one for years. Was called the 90s @ Noon for years, but more recently had shifted more general (to include 2000s).

Yeah, Electric 96.9 has been doing this for a while now. And I think one afternoon a week, they do "Test to request" where they will play older tunes if you get a trivia question right.
