It is the top 100 after all, it's obvious there will be songs you don't like on it. I wouldn't count It Ain't Me as EDM and Say You Won't Let Go as R&B, though? |

Don't remind us of this... 7 Years was arguably the unluckiest #2 of 2016, either that or Cold Water for sure. Here it missed out on #1 by the skin of its teeth and afterwards it was too late because Panda was gaining. And as if that wasn't taunting enough, THEN it was #1 in radio for four weeks. Seriously, even thinking about this makes me want to throw a dictionary at my computer. That fact it got blocked by two bad songs made it worse. Like the song or not,it really was unlucky to sit at #2 for so long |

That is true, but the thing is that it spent multiple weeks at #1 in both sales and radio, and that's why I consider it as unlucky as it was. In badrobot's Hot 100 Component #1 thread, he considers it up there with Stay With Me, I Knew You Were Trouble and Gangnam Style in that vein (and Cold Water should be there too; it debuted at #1 in streams and sales then had two more weeks at #1 in the former). |

I really enjoy Body Like A Back Road. It's not amazing and the lyrics aren't the best, but it's fun, especially the breezy instrumental. I'm also still sad Take Your Time never made it so I'm happy he's finally getting a top 10 hit :)

House Party was at least kind of fun, but that's it. As much s**t that Montevallo gets, House Party is easily the best off the album. I personally think Take Your Time is the best, though it's not good at all. It's at least sincere enough that I couldn't really hate it, the same way I feel about Sam Smith's music. Everything else he has released is complete garbage, IMO. Sam Hunt and Florida Georgia Line single handedly killed country music. Acts like Kelsea Ballerini making hits showcases a shift in the genre, where good country music is finally coming through again. Carrie Underwood is still great as well. |

I actually kind of like Take Your Time, but House Party and LTNO are both godawful. Haven't actually heard MYMM or BUIAST all the way through so I can't really judge.
