Yeah the "Alejandro" video made no sense for the song, which upset me even more than it should since it's my 2nd-favorite Gaga song. That was definitely the start of the downward turn for her music videos imo. Everything pre-"Alejandro" was excellent music videos, but then she started trying to be too out there and weird and decided almost every video had to be like 10 minutes long. I've only liked about 1/2 of her videos since "Telephone."  I really enjoyed the John Wayne video, but I think that's it since Telephone.  |

John Wayne's video was so much fun. Everything else post-Telephone has either tried too hard (Alejandro, G.U.Y., Born This Way, You and I) or not hard enough (The Edge of Glory, Million Reasons, Perfect Illusion).
