I'd love to go to this but I have no idea where the heck I will be this summer so I will probably miss out.

When are we expecting the album? I’m calling early Fall. “Unbreakable” took forever to come out. I’m honestly more excited about the album. She’s been doing basically the same show since Up Close and Personal.

Janet surprising The View today a MOOD. I love her! Seriously considering my first Miss Jackson concert this year. Same! I asked my friend's wife if she wanted to go to the SATX show (I know my friend won't LOL) but no response so asking another friend in Orlando if she will go. Both of those shows are a Friday, which is nice.

She's the GOAT
Considering all that she's been through, all the records she's sold, all the chart records she holds.. It's all one big celebration from now on in her career.

I love her. I think I've seen her 4 times in concert throughout the years since the 90s. If she was coming to Austin perhaps I would go. And even though San Antonio is so close I don't think I feel like driving there for the show. I don't think the show will offer much of something I haven't already seen. Yes, she'll play some new songs. But regarding all the classics I love I think the choreographies are always the same.

She’s been doing basically the same show since Up Close and Personal. I'm thinking maybe the album would come out in August or September. I would love to see her live again, but I don't think it's possible this time. I'm mostly looking forward to the new album.

She was also on "Live With Ryan Seacrest" this morning. Love that she's doing more promos for this new era! We hardly got any interviews from her during the "Unbreakable" era.

She didn't do any interviews for Unbreakable. She did an interview in Gary, Indiana during SOTW and then did many interviews and magazines in 2018 and 2019.

I love that she's back, but one quibble; why do people say she was the first woman nominated for Producer by the Grammys? Wendy & Lisa were nominated as part of Prince & The Revolution in the mid-80s. Meanwhile, the audience reaction to her on The View today got me a little emotional!

The Unbreakable tour was a mix of arenas and smaller venues. I hadn't noticed the SOTW tour. Glad she's doing arenas again. I went to her Rock Witchu Tour and loved it. I might go to her new tour, but I'm going to wait first to see videos of the show on youtube.

She’s switching up the tour as it relates to her older music.
No new album news.

Wendy & Lisa were nominated as part of Prince & The Revolution in the mid-80s. Meanwhile, the audience reaction to her on The View today got me a little emotional! I’ve thought about this before and assume it’s probably because she was the first woman to be nominated by name, not under the title of a band/group. Yes, Wendy and Lisa were very much a part of The Revolution but the nomination was still attributed to the outfit, which was led by a man, not to the individuals. Regardless, it’s sad that it’s 2020 and only SIX women have been nominated (4 by name) and none have won.

Ok. I've never been to a concert/ tour in the US. What are the chances of me getting tickets like 2 - 4 weeks before A date?

As much as I love Unbreakable, I love that she’s actually doing promo now. Feels like her first real album cycle in over a decade.
