I still remember when LBT lost 6 top 10s in the first 20 songs revealed in 2016 Rankdown. But then he did better on the rest of the way somewhat.

Nope, he had "A Guy Walks Into A Bar" at #100. He knows better than to ever put Queen Reba in last place I mean, his logic may have been that an unheard Toby Keith song is still better than a familiar Tyler Farr song. If that was his logic... he's so right. You know me too well

Shade thrown at me. Maybe in the 2012 Country Rankdown, maybe I'll rank a certain Martina McBride last, a really strong year that year was and I couldn't stand that song that was her last Top 5 hit (just kidding btw) But...but...but... :'( All Martina wants to do is love you through it!! She can take that love somewhere else. Maybe give it to Lee Brice as he is well Hard to Love

I still stand by it #Notashamed #IWillNeverUnderstand... Read the post of my explanation. What is so bad about someone thinking a Reba McEntire song is the worse? There are plenty of people who don't care for her music in general.

A cheesy, sappy Hallmark card is what that song is

LMAO I missed the 2012 part in raylatch's post so I just assumed he was talking about her song in the 2014 rankdown I actually love "I'm Gonna Love You Through" it so I take back my comment about the song not being love.

We can do that one later. 2012 was a lot better and should be a higher priority in my opinion. Calm down though!! Sheesh!

I hate both songs in question as I feel like since "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" Martina McBride's material for me has gotten either really cliche or boring af.

Yea, 2012 was a great year for country as well, I agree. But 2011 was Horrible IMO.

Yea, 2012 was a great year for country as well, I agree. But 2011 was Horrible IMO. Eh remove "Country Girl" and "Dirt Road Anthem" for me and it wasn't that bad honestly, I guess you could say it was more boring. But that year has "Colder Weather" by The Zac Brown Band so 2011 wasn't bad either. That year was the year where I got invested in the country charts. I still remember acts like The JaneDear Girls, Sunny Sweeney, Edens Edge, Ashton Shepherd and many more. In my opinion country music was in a real dark spot in 2013-2015. 2016 was a welcome pace back to good (the seeds were planted in late 2015) and 2017 as a whole has been decent to my ears. Nothing so far outlandishly (I hope that is a word) awful but not a ton of songs I get very excited about.

Oh it's totally fine to dislike a Reba song. It is just kinda funny seeing her ranked at #100 behind absolute shit like "Gonna Wanna Tonight", "Kick The Dust Up", "Real Life", etc. Like, I cannot even imagine a scenario where I disliked a Reba song enough to put it behind "Sun Daze" However, she is just an artist that I really like overall. To put things in perspective, even if she sang "Sun Daze" it would rank higher for me than the FGL version did

Oh it's totally fine to dislike a Reba song. It is just kinda funny seeing her ranked at #100 behind absolute s**t like "Gonna Wanna Tonight", "Kick The Dust Up", "Real Life", etc. Like, I cannot even imagine a scenario where I disliked a Reba song enough to put it behind "Sun Daze" However, she is just an artist that I really like overall. So if they sang those songs I'd probably put them a little higher of a throne. I like Reba McEntire I really do, but even though I like her I do find her a tad overrated (don't hate me for saying that) as a whole. That song was a song I never cared for (obviously) and got overplayed a lot during its chart run. I can't fathom a scenario where someone dislikes Maddie & Tae more than Chase Rice, but I respect people who do. I may disagree, but I love Pulse for having different music tastes. It'd be boring as f@#% if everyone had the same taste or everyone liked a single song.

So my top 2 didn't make the top 10. :(
Not surprised at all but still makes me sad AKOK couldn't squeak out a top 10 spot.

Yes!! Tied for most top tens left. Here for "Mama's Broken Heart". Best song she's ever released. Nobody can tell me otherwise.
Realistically, I know it won't win, but it's top ten so we're on the way.

Wow I honestly did not expect "Automatic" to go so soon! One of my all-time favorite Miranda songs (as you can tell by where I ranked it). Glad I contributed to pulling "Automatic" up a bit because I would've been really sad to see it at like #18 or something.
I'm excited for the top 10 reveal! I have 8 songs left in my top 10 that haven't been announced, so I'm really happy :) Actually I also have my #11 left so I have 9 songs out of my personal top 11 in the top 10 of the rankdown!!!
At the same time, I'm really curious to see in where in the top 10 all the songs ended up finishing in.

Heart Like Mine is going to run away with this in my opinion. Everyone seems to like that one.
My guess for Top 10 (could be off) 1 Heart like mine 2 Mamas broken heart 3 Vice 4 Gunpowder and Lead 5 House that built me 6 Kerosene 7 Tin man 8 White liar 9 Over you 10 Famous in a small town

Very interested to see what will be #1! I have no idea at this point. I am going to stand by it being something that is somewhat unexpected, like "Famous In A Small Town", "Heart Like Mine", or "White Liar".
"The House That Built Me" is the most obvious choice, but I think in this case it is TOO obvious. The song is such a huge hit that it will absolutely stand out like a sore thumb in this list to anyone who dislikes it, leading to lower rankings.

"More Like Her" only made it to #14? WTF I am so so so upset about it too. I'm glad I'm hosting this rankdown and saw how it wasn't doing well and was prepared for a poor finish, but I just cannot understand how someone could not like this song. Much like the great songs on The Weight of These Wings you can hear the heartache in her voice, and anyone that can emote their feelings into a song in that powerful of a way just blows me out of the water. That song is what turned me into such a big Miranda fan and what really made me notice how great she is at showing emotion through her music, but pain through sadness is the emotion that she does best, which is why I love so many of her heartache ballads the most. A close second emotion though is hurt through anger, so I also love so many of her songs in that realm.
