To distract myself from Shape of you's depressing reign I went looking at older Top 10s and I asked myself: Is there an artist who had two simultaneous Top 10 songs from different studio albums (excluding The Beatles because I'm not that stupid)? Also it should be both by the main artist so songs like Love The Way You Lie (Recovery) and Only Girl (Loud) shouldn't count Rihanna almost did it when 'We Found Love' (Talk That Talk) entered the Top 10 the week 'Cheers' (Loud) left it But did someone really do it?

I'm digging this thread up because this is an interesting question and I'd also like to know the answer
Chainsmokers had two songs from "Memories... Do Not Open" (Paris and SJLT) and one song from their "Collage" EP (Closer) in the top 10 at the same time, that's the closest thing I can think of

True. Technically that's correct but regarding The Chainsmokers' way of releasing new music it's not too impressive Maybe there have been other people doing the same with one song from an album and the other one was from an EP or just a non-album single/song

I remember being impressed back in 1996 when Hootie & the Blowfish were rising with the first single from their second album (Old Man & Me) as the final single from their first album (Time) was slowly falling. Not quite what you're looking for but I feel like it's a rare case.

If Rihanna couldn't do it when she was doing an album per year I think it'll be pretty hard to find any instance of this, aside from the Chainsmokers.
Twenty One Pilots had Ride and Heathens at the same time, but Heathens wasn't on a 21P album.

Donna Summer- Dim All The Lights and her duet with Barbara Streisand "No More Tears (enough is enough)". Both are from different albums "Dim All The Light's" is from "Bad Girls" and "No More Tears" is from "On The Radio GH's 1 and 2". The duet with Babs is also included on her cd that was coming out at that time as well.

Did the Beatles have any? The infamous chart where they locked up the entire top five came from songs released on four different labels
