AI recalibration. That happens every once in a while.

Why would they recalibrate AI? Did hot 100 use recalibrated data too? Is it gonna change the numbers of those songs' airplay performances?

Because stations' general listener might drop or increase over time? AI is mostly estimate based on the stations average listener and the time of the day the song is played, iirc.

If say, some stations are showing noticable drop in average listener, the songs played by the station will tend to experience decrease in average audience per spin as well. Because radio tracking is using estimates, the estimates should be adjusted accordingly as well.

As for billboard, I'm not sure whether Nielsen use the same method and recalibrates their estimates at the same time with Mediabase, so...
