There are plenty of artists who incorporate album tracks/lower-charting singles into their tours/residencies and do great. I don't see why Shania has to be a slave to all her hits, performing them all in every single show she produces. Like, ok, put the majority of songs people wanna hear, but also throw in some rarely performed stuff too to freshen things up. And if she is a stickler for well-known songs/hits only then no tracks off Now has any business being featured (none featured are even any good lbr). I just can't imagine paying for nearly the identical setlist twice, especially if there is a lot of lipping, but maybe that is just me. lol I love Shania Twain, always will, but switch it up a bit.
With that said I hope her next album is a lot less Now in quality and a lot more her previous work.

I just want someone to post the full video of Forever and for Always. All I saw was a small clip.

I am seeing the show, but not til March 14.
I think the set is really strong but why the heck does she think anyone wants to hear Swinging? It’s a horrible song and not a hit. A strong album track (In My Car?) would have been just as effective, or a lesser sung hit like You’ve Got A Way or Ka-Ching!
I also would have been fine with no Party For Two considering it’s with a backup singer.

Performing or presenting at the Grammys according to a commercial. Hoping she performs.

I also would have been fine with no Party For Two considering it’s with a backup singer. Most likely because it is one of her favorites from the NOW album, if not her favorite. She also gets a lot of crowd participation, similar to “Nah!” In other news, she was honored at the Nevada Ballet’s Black and White Ball event as the “Woman of the Year.” Marie Osmond presented her with the award. Nick Carter was also in attendance. Shania will present at the GRAMMY awards tonight.

Shania is featured on Ronan Keating's new album, Twenty Twenty. Ronan and Shania's duet is "Forever and Ever Amen"

Does anyone know if that's an original, or a cover of the Randy Travis song?

I just want to know what's next for Shania. She said she was working on a Christmas album a while back so I'm hoping that is out this year but I'm not sure.

I think she did an interview right before this Vegas run that said a new album was coming out this year, and the interviewers heard two songs.

I saw her Saturday night, she had a sprained or broken foot and used a stool for the show. It was still a nice time and her voice is stronger than it was on the NOW album/tour.
She also said new music is coming.
I am now social distancing.

Shania has been busy in the studio, posting various clips of her working on music to her Instagram account. And this morning, GMA announced she will headline their "Summer Concert Series" on August 14. She will appear on Ronan Keating's upcoming album 2020 on a duet of the classic Randy Travis hit, "Forever and Ever, Amen." Additionally, she's a featured guest on Orvelle Peck's upcoming EP, Show Pony, on a track titled, "Legends Never Die."

I’m shocked no one mentioned that she did “Forever and for Always” recently during her new Vegas residency.
Her voice doesn’t sound bad on the verses (assuming it’s still lipped though), but it’s sad that she clearly can’t do the choruses anymore so the backup singers kind of take over during those parts. It was still nice to see her bring this back to the set list anyway.

I just want to know how her voice changed so drastically between her first Vegas residency and Now (the album). Watching the residency DVD, it is obviously live singing but then comes around the Rock This Country! tour and the Now tour and her voice sounds so different. I wonder if returning to extensive singing was too much for her dysphonia where is permanently damaged it even more. I worry if it's just going to keep getting worse.

She did an interview around the time she was promoting her new movie, I Still Believe. I think it was with someone from the Vogue podcast on iHeart Radio. It sounds like she had a surgery done shortly after NOW was released because performing live during the last tour and all the press runs was too exhausting. It sounds like the surgery had to be done twice because the first one caused additional nerve damage to her voice. If I find the interview again, I’ll post it here. EDIT: Here is the interview - www.iheart.com/podcast/139-big-ticket-28955447/episode/shania-twain-59124390/

I don’t know how accurate this is, but someone on YouTube who seemed to know a bit about her condition said that her voice will unfortunately continue to deteriorate. :(

I thought her voice sounded much better (speaking & singing) during the LETS GO! residency than the NOW album & press around it where she could barely speak.
I would imagine it will be an up and down thing for her, but I expect the new music to sound better in the studio than NOW, where a lot of the vocals are pretty poor.

Some people on YouTube who claimed to be at the show said it was heavily lipped, and the backup singers sang over her a lot as well.

I watched some of the clips from the Let's Go! residency and a lot of it is obviously lipped. Even the times that she does sing live a little bit such as the intro for a lot of the acoustic songs, her voice sounded really rough. I wonder how the recordings in the studio are going to turn out.

Her talking voice was much stronger than the NOW tour, in my opinion! But there were songs that were lipped but some that weren’t (she messed up the words to “Youre Still The One” pretty badly)

I love THE WOMAN IN ME, COME ON OVER AND UP! but not only did she lose her voice and it sounds really rough.... the songs on NOW just were not as good; Mutt Lange is truly missed. Those two created magic.
But I'm glad Shania has such a strong catalog of hits that she can continue to tour, that's where the money is now anyways.
I'm sure it would never happen but I would like to hear the ShaniaMutt magic again.

A couple years late to this but “Home Now” should have been a major smash.
