If ITO debuts at 1, JB will be only third act to have multiple number debuts and Quavo gets number 1 solo and in a band within a year. I know others have done that (eg Fergie) but don't know if any got that in such short time will.i.am and Black Eyed Peas got #1s very close together with Imma Be and OMG. |

I think you are correct with will.i.am holding the record at 2 months. At least three other acts had a window of 6 months including George Harrison, Donny Osmond and Rob Thomas (with The Beatles, The Osmonds and Matchbox 20 respectively). Phil Collins and Genesis had an 8 month gap in 1985-86. |

A No. 1 entrance for "One" would also make for the third consecutive song to hit the summit in three weeks; Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" rose 2-1 on the May 13-dated chart, dethroning Kendrick Lamar's "Humble.," which jumped 3-1 on the May 6 tally.
"One" already bounded in at No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart just after its release (April 28).

"Despacito" is #1 in sales with its 2 versions combined and looks to be ahead of "I'm the One" on Spotify with versions combined. It would be cool to have 5 different #1s in 5 weeks.

So to recap this week so far, Despacito has gained the upper hand on sales and streams than I'm the One with both versions combined, That's What I Like is now #1 on radio and the greatest airplay gainer, Mask Off is now the#1 trending video on YouTube while Sign of the Times will come out on Monday. The Cure is discounted. Not to mention a last day-Miley Cyrus release on Thursday.
