This is straight out of 2004. This song has like fours hooks. It's pretty solid. This. Reminds me of something left off Confessions.

Well that's why I said "left off". Meaning rejects.

Generic, uninspired. But isn't that what's in at Pop radio these days? The chorus is catchy. Could be a big hit for him.
And I've seen numerous people say he's the best singer from 1D... seriously? This is the best singer? LAWD. No wonder I never paid attention to that group.

He sounds just like Ed Sheeran in this song. Good song though.

Easily the least quality of all the 1D boys' singles but easily has the highest chance of being a hit behind Pillowtalk.

This is my favourite first single of any of the 1D members tbh. This'll go down well in the club, especially with a remix.

He sounds just like Ed Sheeran in this song. Good song though. That's because Daddy Sheeran wrote it :)

I need to see who produced this only to comment that I can't believe it's not DJ Mustard (unless it is).

The "You know I used to be in 1D" line is absolutely cringe-worthy.
This is disappointing. When Liam was in 1D, I considered him to be one of the better vocalists (with Harry and Zayn), but this doesn't reflect that at all. Sure, it's catchy, but out of all of the 1D solo releases, this is the one with least quality imo.

Like it or not, Zayn, Niall and Harry's first singles have personality. This is generic as hell and not a good song

Curiously the song is not even close to be number one in UK right now (0.69 of Despacito)

This is kinda wack, it's pretty bland and at some points cringy in it's lyrics It sounds like a cross between Ed Sheeran and Justin Timberlake mixed with a rent a rapper ft and it just feels like a total reject song.
Easily could've been a reject scrap from something from Justified era JT & Confessions Usher, failing to be as good as either.

This is the best singer? LAWD. No wonder I never paid attention to that group. This clearly wasn't a song designed to showcase vocals. It's like hearing "Genie in A Bottle" for the first time and dismissing Xtina's singing abilities. haha

#1 on iTunes and slaying the teen girls. And still there. Funny how everyone in here is hating on it, yet it's still sitting at #1.

I'm honestly shocked that Pulse isn't feeling this. Besides IDWLF and possibly PT, this is the most instant post-1D single yet

I don't hate this. It's OK radio filler. Better than Still Got Time, and it's obviously much more in touch with what radio wants than Sign of the Times.
I'm already over this whole ft. Quavo/Migos wave, though.

Listen to Sign of the times. Lol, agree to disagree because I thought Sign of the Times was a total dirge that went nowhere. I couldn't understand for the life of me why they thought that was a good lead single.
