oops I'm probably the reason that missed top 10 Here's the 10 remaining songs: Countdown Crazy In Love (feat. Jay-Z) Formation Halo Irreplaceable Love On Top Naughty Girl Partition Sweet Dreams Telephone (with Lady Gaga) Predictions? I'm guessing Telephone, Naughty Girl and Partition are gonna be the next to go. I can't see Formation or Countdown edging out the others for top 5 either.

Pleasantly surprised! Sure, SL is a bop, but it's also a poor man's Get Me Bodied. I never thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right. Yep. Beat is an almost identical rip-off, songs are almost exactly the same length (once you chop off the '9...4...8...1...B'Day' intro from GMB), and even the way the songs transitions into a more melodic bridge is the same to me. Only edge I'd give to SL is a cleaner hook and the transition out of the hook (which is truly a production stroke of genius). But there's a reason Michelle Obama relied on a working of GMB for her workout campaign and not the more well-known SL. Lady Obama knew the real deal! I even remember multiple r&b fans clocking SL when it was first released because of this...but GMB barely registered a blip on pop and SL had the benefit of being a pre-album-release single with a big push behind it; so for the most part, the similarities were overlooked.

1 5 6 8 9 15 16 19 28 29 I did really well in matching the top 20, but I'm back to my usual hit-or-miss self when it comes to being in line with the top 10. Based on what people have said about certain songs, I'm going to guess CIL, Halo, Naughty Girl, and Sweet Dreams will be in the top 5. I can't decide what to predict for the remaining spot - I think it's a tossup between Telephone, LOT and Partition. Telephone is well liked, but I have noticed in most artist rankdowns fans don't typically care to rank features too high compared to the artist's own hits. LOT was on 4 (underrated album in general among pop fans) but I have a feeling it's the most overall liked single from that album. (Those OCTAVES!) Partition is LIFE...but might be a bit too much life for the pop girls to handle. Maybe LOT's octaves will give it the slight edge? Irreplaceable, Formation, and Countdown all lean too hard in one direction or the other to make top 5, I think. Polarization will do them in. I'm still holding to my CIL guess as #1, but Sweet Dreams or Naughty Girl could be lowkey challengers. Funny enough, that video was controversial for a spell because it was an homage to Bob Fosse, but in typical Bey fashion she didn't make a broad announcement on a megaphone that 'hey, this is a Bob Fosse homage!' so people accused her of thieving again when they spotted it. Meanwhile, the GMB video also borrowed some Bob Fosse steps. It's wild to me how Bey's most signature hit is literally just her taking her most recent (at the time) minor hit and perfecting the presentation.

If "Telephone" wins this.. I sincerely f**king hope not. Don't get me wrong - I love 'Telephone', it was my #3 in the Gaga rankdown and it's in my top half here but this is the Beyoncè rankdown and 'Telephone' is not her song. Frankly it shouldn't even be this high, but #beckymandering

10. Telephone (with Lady Gaga) [456 points]"Telephone" is a song recorded by American singer Lady Gaga for her third EP, The Fame Monster (2009). The song features American singer Beyoncé. The song was written by Gaga, Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels, Lazonate Franklin and Beyoncé. Inspired by her fear of suffocation, Gaga explained that the lyrics preferring relaxing on the dance floor to answering her lover's phone call are a metaphor, the phone calling her representing the fear of not having worked hard enough to succeed. Originally, Gaga wrote the song for Britney Spears, who recorded a demo. Musically, "Telephone" consists of an expanded bridge, verse-rap and a sampled voice of an operator announcing that the phone line is unreachable. Beyoncé appears in the middle of the song, singing the verses in a rapid-fire way, accompanied by double beats. - Wikipedia Average: 20.7272727273 St Dev: 10.305716482 Chart Peaks: UK - 1 / Ireland - 1 / Canada - 2 / Sweden - 2 / New Zealand - 3 / US - 3 / Germany - 3 / France - 3 / Australia - 3 / Netherlands - 10 03 LBTrocks04 Choco07 Normi09 CF1512 Sambalada15 @walker9 16 Leo ✔18 bat199019 @antigonerising 19 Az Paynter20 Albie20 Zeebz20 Ky20 Fat Ass Kelly Price25 born29 .indulgecountry29 #LisaRinna30 aerodynamite30 ry4n33 Kanenrá:ke36 austin42 jtd Thee StallionYotamTS

9. Countdown [409 points]"Countdown" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her fourth studio album, 4 (2011). The song was written by Knowles, Terius Nash, Shea Taylor, Ester Dean, Cainon Lamb, Julie Frost, Michael Bivins, Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris, and produced by Beyoncé, Taylor and Lamb. The song's conception was brought about by Knowles desiring to mix musical styles of the 1990s with the 1970s. It was sent to radio on October 4, 2011 as the fourth single from 4.
Featuring a sample of "Uhh Ahh" by Boyz II Men, "Countdown" incorporates aspects of hip hop, funk, reggae and world music. According to the lyrics, the female protagonist delivers a message of monogamy for her lover, celebrating self-worthiness as well as appreciating him. The song received rave reviews from critics, who were surprised by its maturity and compared it to Beyoncé's earlier solo work and with Destiny's Child. The song finished second in 2011's Pazz & Jop critics' poll and was included on the list of the year's best songs by various critics and publications including Spin, Rolling Stone and The Guardian. - Wikipedia Average: 18.5909090909 St Dev: 12.9049975219 Chart Peaks: UK - 35 / Ireland - 45 / Canada - 62 / Australia - 65 / US - 71 02 Kanenrá:ke02 jtd Thee Stallion02 Ky04 Zeebz05 aerodynamite08 Fat Ass Kelly Price11 Az Paynter11 Choco12 Normi15 @antigonerising 16 ry4n18 Albie21 CF1522 LBTrocks23 Leo ✔23 born28 bat199033 Sambalada34 austin34 #LisaRinna40 .indulgecountry45 @walker9 YotamTS

8. Formation [387 points]"Formation" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her sixth studio album Lemonade (2016). It was written by Khalif Brown, Jordan Frost, Asheton Hogan, Mike Will Made It and Beyoncé and produced by the latter three. It served as the album's lead single, released on February 6, 2016 through Parkwood Entertainment.
The song's accompanying music video, directed by Melina Matsoukas premiered on the same day as the song itself through Beyoncé's official YouTube account. It received mixed response for its alleged anti-police stance, which the singer denied, in addition to controversy over documentary footage used in the video. However, some critics praised its depiction of African-Americans not frequently seen in mainstream media. In order to promote the song, Beyoncé performed it during her guest appearance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show the day after its premiere. Throughout 2016, Beyoncé launched her The Formation World Tour which was named in reference to the song. "Formation" was the most googled song of 2016.[1] "Formation" was nominated for the Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and won in the category Best Music Video, and was included on several year-end lists. - Wikipedia Average: 17.5909090909 St Dev: 15.2991101232 Chart Peaks: US - 10 / Australia - 17 / France - 24 / UK - 31 / Canada - 32 / Ireland - 59 / Germany - 74 01 aerodynamite01 bat199003 Choco03 ry4n03 .indulgecountry04 born06 Leo ✔06 Zeebz07 Fat Ass Kelly Price09 @antigonerising 09 Az Paynter15 Sambalada16 jtd Thee Stallion25 #LisaRinna27 LBTrocks28 Normi29 @walker9 30 Albie32 Kanenrá:ke39 Ky41 austin53 CF15YotamTS

7. Love On Top [383 points]"Love On Top" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her fourth studio album 4 (2011). Inspired from her state of mind while playing Etta James in the 2008 musical biopic Cadillac Records, Beyoncé wrote the song alongside Terius Nash, Belle Nuru, and Shea Taylor; its production was handled by Taylor and Beyoncé. A throw-back to 1980s music, the uptempo R&B song exhibits style similar to that of Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and The Jackson 5, among others. While incorporating four key changes, Beyoncé adopts a high range when repeating the song's chorus towards the end of the song. She sings about a man whom she can always call, even after facing grief and hard work, finally earning his love and respect. - Wikipedia Average: 17.4090909091 St Dev: 14.8313024535 Chart Peaks: UK - 13 / New Zealand - 14 / US - 20 / Australia - 20 / Ireland - 21 / Canada - 65 / France - 83 01 Az Paynter01 Kanenrá:ke01 Fat Ass Kelly Price02 Albie03 #LisaRinna08 CF1508 Choco10 austin11 Zeebz13 Normi14 bat199016 @antigonerising 18 Sambalada19 .indulgecountry22 born22 Ky23 aerodynamite23 jtd Thee Stallion30 Leo ✔31 ry4n52 @walker9 55 LBTrocksYotamTS

6. Naughty Girl [379 points]"Naughty Girl" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé from her debut studio album, Dangerously in Love (2003). It was written by Robert Waller, Angela Beyincé, Scott Storch and Beyoncé, and produced by the Storch and Beyoncé. The song was released by Columbia Records as the fourth and final single from the album to US radios on March 14, 2004, and was available as a physical release the next month. An official remix featuring Lil' Kim was released in the following month, as well. Musically, "Naughty Girl" is an R&B and disco song that interpolates from the Donna Summer's song, "Love to Love You Baby" (1975). Influenced by Arabic music, dancehall and reggae, the song contains lyrics that reference to a celebration of sexual lust and conquest, leading up to a desire for a one-night stand. - Wikipedia Average: 17.2272727273 St Dev: 14.5501818617 Chart Peaks: Canada - 2 / US - 3 /New Zealand - 6 / Australia - 9 / UK - 10 / Ireland - 14 / Germany - 16 / France - 18 / Sweden - 32 01 Albie02 LBTrocks02 @walker9 03 CF1504 Az Paynter04 ry4n05 @antigonerising 05 jtd Thee Stallion12 #LisaRinna13 .indulgecountry13 Zeebz16 Choco16 Ky18 Leo ✔21 austin21 Normi22 Sambalada35 Kanenrá:ke35 Fat Ass Kelly Price40 bat199045 aerodynamite46 bornYotamTS
