bboat11 so we have until midnight to send this in on the 4th, correct? Sorry, but it will definitely be Sunday evening before I can send this in gonna start working on it tonight and would love to have it completed/sent in by tomorrow night, but I seriously question if that'll be possible. and I won't be in town over the weekend. Why oh why is it so hard for me to change my last minute ways? lol sorry all. Yep, midnight on the 4th. {Spoiler} (But between you and me, I do not plan to start revealing results without your list. You've been expressing interest all along, and you provide a necessary degree of uncertainty that is pretty much a staple of country rankdowns at this point. I would like to start revealing on Monday the 5th, so keep that in mind, but if you have to submit on the 5th it's not the end of the world. :) )

Why does Garth Brooks hate technology so much? He's outdated I wouldn't say that he necessarily hates technology. I think it's more that he doesn't like the way that iTunes/Apple/streaming services conduct business and pay the artists.

Yeah, what's this stuff about having to "endure" Ellen. She is pretty much a hilarious angel sent straight from God's holy womb.

To be honest, I think it's just cuz the guy has an ego the size of Texas and he thinks he's "too good" for streaming services and digital music.

Nah, I am still firmly behind Garth Brooks from the '90s. Some of his stuff is all-time classics. It's just his refusal to adapt to the modern times, paired with his awful recent output, that has soured me on him lately. He has always been a strong personality, but he's made some damn good music. "The Thunder Rolls", "That Summer", "Ain't Goin' Down 'Til The Sun Comes Up", "Friends In Low Places", "Unanswered Prayers", "What She's Doing Now", "When You Come Back To Me Again", "The Dance", "If Tomorrow Never Comes", "The River", etc. are all incredible songs.
His recent output just does not even come close to stacking up.

If he wants to make his music so inaccessible, fine by me. I won't listen to or purchase any of it, and that includes the ones I like.

I swear it sounds just like Garth. I'm about 99% sure of it. I heard "The River" on CT40 about a week ago and I did a comparison between the two. They are identical I swear. Maybe I have just gone insane😨

But Garth's voice is better tbh This singer has absolutely no vibrato, and doesn't sound like he can do a lot of Garth's signature growls and stuff. It is just a copycat cover band (that sounds very similar to him). Even the backing band is not as good. LMAO listening to "Friends In Low Places" right now, and the copycat singer totally biffs the low notes in the chorus. He's trying to sing them lower than they are

I don't mind his newer output, but it's not as good as his 90s (and even early 2000s) stuff.
