if you know where to find the year-end countdown, then please post a link & i can use it to recalculate...but if it is albums, then i have to figure out a way to divide up the points for each song - any thoughts on best way to do that? (i'm willing to do it though)

I know you are joking, but that was actually what Pop music was back then. A lot of it was based on the British top 100. There really was no genre splicing. Just great music on all radio stations. The funk and R&B songs were just as good.
