Brett Young's second single reaching top 20 without even crossing over is beyond impressive.

Though I prefer Despacito to SOY, I want SOY to be the #1 of the year, as it has more historical weight. Btw, what's the gap between SOY and TWIL? I know that it's big, but I think that TWIL will have more longevity than SOY. But it depends on the points. Also, the only thing that got Despacito here is the remix; let's be clear. If, as one of noted, the remix will be promoted with a MV or something, Despacito will potentially have bigger chances than SOY to end up at #1. But I doubt that a video will be released. Bieber's biggest rival is himself, though. I can see a few ITO remixes for streaming and it being put on sale and it has better radio momentum than Despacito (well, it's in English). I think that ITO will potentially minimally steal streaming from Despacito and won't let go of that #1 until the next JB collab in June (?), and the Spanish-speaking audience may move on to Felices los 4, a potential dark horse. But if if it won't happen, Despacito has a very high chance to at least end in the YE top 3. I'm the One will probably become the CSTF of this year (summer smash that debuts at #1 and gets stuck at #2 for several weeks behind the powerhouse of a song above it)... hopefully not the 52-week part though. If I remember correctly one dance is one of the weekest 10-week number ones

RIP LOTB and IFIC. Two of my late 2016 faves, and as unlikely as it seemed when they started charting, both ended up as top 5 hits.

I remember when I Feel It Coming and Love On The Brain reached top 10 the same week, and now they're both dropping off together. Fun coincidence.

So that makes the third single from ANTI to spend 30+ weeks on the chart. Work got 36, Needed Me got 45 and Love on the Brain 31. This Is What You Came For also spent 32 weeks on the chart. Pretty good run.

Gucci Mane - Both spent 22 weeks on Hot 100. All of its 22 weeks, it charted between 58 and 41. 58 was the lowest it was on its chart run and 41 was the highest it was on the chart run. Has there been a song that made year end list that had the most steady chart run its entire run?

Nice to see Chained to the Rhythm still holding on and eeking out as many weeks as possible. I don't think it's a sign of a career revival, but it is a little tidbit of good news for her.

Wait, why tf is Both off of the H100? Is there a 22 week rule I am unaware about?

Songs with more than 20 weeks that chart outside top 50 without bullet/gains in performance go recurrent/drop out of hot 100

how the hell did it fall out of the top50? I didn't think it would fall so fast. Dumb that BB doesn't let reentrances happen even when debuts above fall...

What is The Weeknd's next single?
Had I Don't Wanna Live Forever stayed on the chart, 4 1D members would be on the chart at the same time with individual singles. It's kinda funny they are all releasing new material at the same time

^ Yeah, that does seem like a highly, highly, unwise decision. I mean let's face it, just like any group, the odds they will all have successful solo careers is minute, but even more miniscule that they are being launched at the same time!

I wonder if Chained To The Rhythm can make year end. I don't really have an idea, so it might be a dumb question and it might actually be at #252 if such spot existed lol.
