It´s a smooth and safe song to me not a big hit but it can work somehow for her after all this time. I didnt watch her season on The Voice and I only knew her because "Hart of Dixie" that I like but this one I thought she sang well.

I actually like Danielle Bradbury a lot. I also dont think you're going to find many people who would not take "Sway" anyday of the week over "Friend Zone". I love Bradbury's sound on this song but I dont think this song is for me. I do hope for a decent chart run because I feel like she has so much potential if she can gain some momentum it could be realized.

I saw her last night at the amphitheater in Nashville. Her voice was beautiful but I have never seen an artist as disinterested to be on stage as she was.She brought nothing to the table.Just wondered around singing words. She literally trotted off stage as soon as she sang the last note of the last song.Disappointing.

Did she say anything about this song going to radio or this bring released as a single? That's a shame to hear she sounded uninterested in the performance.

So I just saw on the Big Machine label Q&A during CMA Fest and saw some rumblings on Twitter that there is a radio plan for "Sway", coming from Scott Borchetta (I think that is how you spell his last name) himself, so maybe just maybe this song will get a radio push. She also has this thing on her website where if people I think stream "Sway" enough times as a whole on Spotify than she will have like this Chapter thing or something along those lines be revealed so maybe that's a hint of when the song will be sent to radio officially (people have claimed this has been played on radio a little bit, is this anywhere on the MB Chart trebor at all) Scott Borchetta also confirmed in that Q/A that we should expect an album from Danielle Bradbery sooner than later.

The Highway played it today on the On The Horizon show. Hopefully that means that this song can get an add date by the end of the summer. Hopefully.

tasteofcountry.com/danielle-bradbery-new-album-2017-interview/Goes for adds August 28th. Also according to a fan account on Twitter Danielle Bradbery is about to embark on another radio tour. The add date is so long out. But it makes sense as Danielle Bradbery hasn't been on radio in a long time now and with her alleged radio tour starting real soon that should hopefully lead to a good add date in August.

I just don't see how anyone thought this would work for radio because I feel like it's forgettable and lacks a punch but hopefully it'll get Danielle back on the radar. I loved "The Heart of Dixie" so I'd love to see Danielle back on the country charts.

I really like Danielle Bradbery but honestly I am just amazed on how much her label believes in her. I would've thought she will be dropped a few years ago and now they're kind of relaunching her.Sway may not be my favorite but I find her other new songs good like Worth It, Potential

As the ad points out, Borchetta and company have moves Bradbery from Big Machine to BMLG Records (formerly Republic Nashville).
A new radio tour and her label is approaching "Sway" like it's her debut single. Starting over kind of thing. She's been off radio for over three years, and only had two terrestrial radio singles anyway, so this isn't surprising.

These little radio tours never work in the long run for females.

I love her voice but IMO this song just isn't very good. I haven't really liked anything she has written so to me she isn't much of a song writer and since that seems to be a requirement for success I just am not feeling very hopeful for her chances.

I think part of the problem is these artist's managers are doing a poor job of marketing. Sometimes, an artist will post something hours after the fact that says, I was on the following radio stations today. These artists don't realize that some people can listen to radio at work, or may live in the market in question. It is all about planning, in my opinion, and frankly, some of these artists do not have that skill set.

That's also my issue on most of the artists I follow since I miss a lot of opporunities to see them but at least on this case she has a page for just the radio tour schedules: www.swaywithradio.com . Not much of a big thig but a start. Only moderate expectations on sway still but if this will bring her back to radar atleast, then it's fine. (Oops sorry I edited after you quoted. I didn't see it.)

They have a 100 seat studio (Olivia Lane, as well as others used it last year) for this purpose. I mean, a lot of artists "follow" people on Twitter in an attempt to get a following, but then does nothing to interact but find time to post every little thing on Snapchat/Instagram/Facebook. People will remember the interactions, and in turn, they will tell their friends about it, and the word of mouth goes on. I get these artists aren't on "banker's hours" but I suspect they (or managers) plan things well out, and can plan their day somehow.

Yeah, this song doesn't really "go anywhere", but I love the laid-back production on it. Her voice is put front and center and is probably the highlight of the song. I also got a similar vibe to Lindsay Ell's "Waiting On You" at the beginning, which is great because I love that song.

Danielle was on Bobby Bones this AM and subsequently Sway has jumped into the top 30 on the iTunes all genre chart, and is at #2 on the country chart.

The more I listen to this song the more I hear Corrine Rae Bailey's 'Put Your Records On.' Just the whole vibe and delivery of the song makes me think of it really. I like the song, it's fun and catchy it just makes me think of another song completely.

Thanks to the Bobby Bones show. This debuts inside the MB Top 100 at #84. Thought she did a live version for Bobby, so not a spin. It's been getting some early spins from Norfolk and a few other stations. At this point though, I try to have low expectations/avoid optimism with any female singles.
