Fantastic winner! Can't say that I like the way the top 10 was organized (or even some of the songs making the top 10), but this is a great winner and one of Tim's best. I'm very surprised to see Humble and Kind make it so far. Top 10 I expected, but not top 5, let alone #2. It's good, but a little overrated and too new to be considered one of Tim's all-time best. We'll see how it wears over the years.

Fantastic top 2 but I'm glad "Just To See You Smile" was able to win. After the 1997 rankdown I was expecting "Everywhere" to place better than "Just To See You Smile".

beyond disappointed. "Just To See You Smile" is one of his most overrated and horrible singles. Truly wish I had ranked it lower than I did. Sometimes I can tolerate it but usually I don't like it

Really surprised at the winner. I probably would have ranked Angry All the Time at #1. Also glad I got to rediscover Everywhere :)

I think I have an unpopular opinion about this album track: yeah, it definitely had single potential, but I think it would've stirred up a bunch of controversy due to the lyrical content. I kinda like it, but the lyrical setup is a little too dark for me. Sorry folks. I'll post more thoughts about the final reveals later...oh yeah, curses at sabre14 for ranking "Please Remember Me" so low; yeah, I think it's kinda sappy, but I truly enjoyed it on the first handful of listens. Most of my top album tracks came from that album, btw.

"Please Remember Me" is boring. I don't like the vocal arrangement and Tim's vocals singing it and don't care for the instrumentation. So glad the stellar and relatable "Just To See You Smile" won. :kii:

Oops, I'm obviously biased towards this album. :kii: :kii: I'd personally switch "Seventeen" out with "The Trouble With Never". The former isn't bad, but I think the rhyme scheme got fudged up in the second half of the chorus ("Only comes once in a lifetime/Don't it just fly by wild and free" and later "Livin' on crazy dreams/Rock 'n' roll and faded blue jeans"). I still find that album among his most cohesive alongside Live Like You Were Dying. Hmm...now that I think of it, it was probably planned that way (rhyming 'life' and 'wild', then 'dreams' and 'jeans' instead of relying solely on the final word of the lines, which is what I have been doing). And yes, I took a songwriting class...and nope, I'm not ashamed of it. #benefitsofliberalartseducation

And with that, our Tim McGraw rankdown is officially over! Thank you guys so much for submitting lists, following along, and sharing your thoughts and opinions! This was a lot of fun for me, and I hope some (if not all) of you had a great time as well! And if anyone discovered some new favorites from Tim, I would consider this to be a huge success.
I'll see most of you in the Faith Hill rankdown!

Love all of the songs listed here even the ones I didn't vote for. I almost voted for "The Trouble With Never" it was on my list but I ended up not voting for it in the end. I agree that this album and "Live Like You Were Dying" are probably his two strongest albums but I would also put "Set This Circus Down" up there too. Those 3 albums are my favorite of his
