Mixed feelings. It's definitely refreshing though.
Edit: I can see myself being obsessed with it in a few minutes though!

She needed to release a downtempo next.
Sure Havana was a huge hit. But I think her team is looking at the broader picture. They don't want her to be grouped with the Demi's and Selena's of the world. They want to build her on a foundation to one day become grouped with the Rihanna's and Taylor's of the world. This can't happen with only releasing catchy quick lil pop hits. Havana got pop radio on her side. Now it's time to take some risks.
Let's get it.

I am listening to it now for the first time in full but have listened to the Itunes preview a few times. I like it but wanted to like it more after Loving "Havanna and OMG" so much. I have a feeling it's going to grow on me more because it is pretty catchy.

Great follow up to Havana! This sounds ahead of its time and I think it could do well for her!

Was meh on first listen, but it is an earworm. It's grown on me already.
I like the radio edit lyrics more.

A earworm no doubt about that. I'm already jamming to this.

I would rather hear Selena cooing than this mewling. Her voice is HORRID on this song. But, I kinda like the song. @ her including the radio edit on an album that only has 11 tracks though.

Okay I loved "OMG" and "Havana" but this sounds like Ashlee Simpson karaoke.

This is not going to do as well as Havana there’s no way. I can see this peaking around 17.

I'm surprised this doesn't have a radio deal.My local stations haven't played it yet.

I love the studio version! The production is really layered. I love Camila's vocals.
I see them doing a remix of this with G-Eazy later on.

I like her scratchy vocals! Also I’ve been hearing this on XM stations.
The challenge, IMO, for her with this song is showing she can have a hit without a featured artist.

I really like this song, it feels like something T Swift would do, well minus the drug lyrics. Hope this does well, I think the danger of this song is that it can get overshadowed by Havana

The song itself is excellent. Really kick ass track, love the production and the chorus.
I do have to agree with several other posters though, her vocals are foul and all over the damn place. It's gonna take quite a few listens for me to get around them.

Is Camilla Cabello the one to get us out of this 2016-2017 pop music boring slump? "Havana" is great and so is this.

I like this better than I liked Havana on first listen, I think it's a pretty strong effort. I'm actually really impressed by the quality of the material she has recorded so far.

I totally hear how this will become an ear worm, but these vocals are horrendous. It's fine as an overall song though; I imagine I'll listen to it as much as "Havana", which was whenever someone else put it on.

Melodically, the chorus is really strong and is what Taylor Swift should’ve had more of on “Reputation”. I can see this doing well since it’ll ride off the success of Havana, but I don’t really think it’ll be a huge #1-2 monolith. It’ll be a Top 10 hit though most likely.
The problem I have with Camila Cabello is her tonal quality is comparable to a bad Britney Spears with a cold. Her voice is distinctive, which is really important for popstars no doubt, but it’s rather unpleasant. Her personality is also bland. She’s done so many interviews, which is what the rising stars need to do more of, but nothing about her is remotely captivating or interesting. She reminds me of your average suburban girl who likes to sing in her bedroom that the industry decided to pump heavily through their dated machine. It’s too soon to tell whether she’s going to be a big force, but with so much of female pop nowadays being such a bore, it’s not like she has a ton of competition. I could see her being the female Jason Derulo if she continues to churn out radio-ready hits

This is a grower but I can't imagine this being played on the radio. Real friends has more potential as a single.
