Would you guys be interested in me doing a rankdown for the 1D solo songs? Not enough songs yet. But I'd be down for a 1D rankdown!

The winner's alright I guess. I don't like the song THAT much but I'd listen to it. I don't see how it could win though. It's nothing special.

Man so even if I put IFIC at #30 (which it would've been now) it still would have won. This is my lowest ranked winner. IFIC is easily my least favorite song by The Weeknd.

If it were the original, it would've been in my top 3. I'm fine with any of these last three songs winning. Come on, own your ranking! Lol You decided to rank the version you decided, as with any rankdown one votes for the version one prefers, remix or not. I voted for the original

Castle on the Hill - Really a good song, glad it did well here. I honestly still prefer "Shape of You," and I know that that's an unpopular opinion, but oh well! Despacito - Finally! This song is utter trash. How, of all Latin pop songs, was this the one to become so damn massive and breakthrough into the American mainstream? Even before the Bieber dick-riding trend hopping remix came out, this was already starting to blow up. Terrible song. I'm also ecstatic to see there was a mess up and this is indeed #13 instead of #4 because... Also, yay, that means "DNA." made the top five and "Love on the Brain" made the top ten!!!!! That's What I Like - Finally. While this is miles better than "24K Magic," I don't understand the love for it. Though, I heard the Punk Goes Pop version of it, and I have to admit it's not bad in that setting. I guess maybe I'm growing a distaste towards Bruno even though I never had one before at all. HUMBLE. - Top 2! YES! It ranks right where I put it and I couldn't be any happier. Absolutely amazing song and amazing music video to boot. I Feel It Coming - I can't believe it was my #2 vs my #3. This is great! I'm so happy these two were the top two, and I honestly don't mind that my #3 beat out my #2 because they're extremely close for me. This is honestly my favorite song of The Weeknd's. I love that whole tropical dance hall vibe it has because even though that is definitely trend hopping, he did it in such a way that it sounds incredibly fresh. Similar to Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home." Harx - I know you messed up with leaving Narwhal out and "Despacito"'s ranking, but really, you did a great job with this one! Also, this was probably the funnest rankdown thread to read in quite a while! If it were the original, it would've been in my top 3. I'm fine with any of these last three songs winning. Come on, own your ranking! Lol You decided to rank the version you decided, as with any rankdown one votes for the version one prefers, remix or not. I voted for the original For the most part, and in regards to this rankdown in particular, I agree. However, as with any rule, there are exceptions! Such as the EDM rankdowns, where you should be ranking the EDM versions of the songs rather than their original counterparts (like "You Know You Like It" or "Prayer In C") or the personal rankdowns where the host explicitly posts a particular version of the song (like mine with "Stay High" over "Habits"). But, yeah, in this instance, you should rank the version you prefer.

Despite my horrible performance (even worse with the D fuckup), this was a fun and interesting rankdown. Congrats and thanks Harx for coming up with this idea, doing a good job with the images and overall song presentation, and keeping it cool in the middle of the mess lol no worries about the fuckup, I think it was the icing on the cake on an unusual but fun RD. On the top songs: - TWIL: not a bad song but just not my cup of tea... don't like the vibe or the beat but appreciate his vocals and that the song has good structure and production. HUMBLE. It was my highest ranked rap song. Not upset about its result. Again just not a big fan of this type of rap but appreciate the lyrics, flow, production. Could've ranked it a bit higher probably IFIC. This is a song that IS in my wheelhouse and started in my top 10. I love Daft Punk and really like Weeknd... maybe that's why I felt disappointed and penalized them a bit. Yes, the song is another could've-been-a-Michael-Jackson song, with good vocals and smooth production... but too me is far too predictable and monotone. In principle I have a bias against choruses composed of single phrases repeated over and over. Then I'm also not a fan of songs that don't have any major change in melody and it's same beat throughout. For that reason I prefer Starboy by a mile. Again, I don't think IFIC is a bad song, I just felt that other songs were more interesting

I'm finally back. The end result was good, except that DNA is the closest thing we've ever had to an absolute underground masterpiece hit the top 5, pretty much in this decade. Anyway, I Feel it Coming is good enough.
And no I'm not gonna go off at indulge because that 1 time I did was enough for every time he ranks Kendrick in the blatant wrong posit... s**t whoops.
