Yeah, that's according to The Sun. I'm sure you know The Sun is a British tabloid, so the article is written from their perspective. The article was written by Dan Wootton and I doubt he would just make everything up. 'Anti' didn't do nearly as well as Rihanna's more pop oriented albums in the UK and Europe. I'm from Slovenia and radio here didn't touch the singles from 'Anti'. Well, 'Love on the Brain' at least showed up on a few weekly TOP 50 airplay charts, but that was it. It was like the whole 'Anti' era didn't happen here at all. |

I really miss her pop perfection days but none of them female artists are giving me pure urban and some hoe anthems (apart from Bey when she's not busy being artsy) so I'm totally on board with another album in that direction.

Anti had an undeniably messy lead up, but the album did exactly what she wanted it to, moving her in the direction of becoming an albums artist, and making her brand less reliant on radio singles/pop hits.
