It would be so nice to see her promoting Ocean's 8 with all the other ladies but I don't see that happening. I'm sure she will attend the premiere in NYC though. I'm not holding my breath for a lead single but a collab for the summer would be amazing! Why wouldn't she embark on the promo tour? What else does she have going on at the moment? |

The Unapologetic ended in late 2013
Early 2015 already gave us new music with early 2016 being Anti's release
That era ended in early 2017 so by now she should start treating us well or the wait will be even longer than last time

Rihanna is pushing 260 mil records sold WW is it possible that if she surpasses the Beatles in certified record sales which is around 275 mil, that she’ll be the best selling artist of all time? Guinness certified Madonna as the best selling female artist of all time with 300m units “sold” although her actual certs are just over 170m so I suppose Rihanna could claim a “most certified artist” title or something similar but I think the estimated sales of The Beatles, Elvis and Madonna, etc. would reign supreme. |

But aren't the most certified based on album sales, not single and album sales. When artists were announced like Madonna, Whitney, Celine, Mariah - they are talking about album sales of 150-200 million back in the 00's. That was worldwide with just album sales. Single sales were never a part of that. Thriller, the album, alone has supposedly sold over 100 million worldwide, so with all his other albums, I think its gonna be some time before Rihanna can hold that title. I think she has to jump over a lot of people to get there. |

All those records come with huge asterisks as a lot of older acts clearly sold more yet a lot of their totals are just estimations. Let’s not forget SoundScan didn’t even start tracking sales until 1991 so there’s no definitive way of knowing how much people really sold before then anyway. |

I haven’t really cared for her stuff since 2014 but it is always refreshing having Rihanna on the charts, even if I don’t like the song. I hope this is something I will enjoy, but even if not, I would like to see her continue getting success :)
