The announcement has made me want to go back and listen to some of her albums. I've never really cared for 'Talk That Talk' but I am suddenly liking it a lot more than I used to. My favorite Rihanna album <3 |

Talk That Talk is a solid album. "Drunk On Love" is lowkey one of her biggest missed opportunities. That would have been a great single in my opinion.
EDIT: I think the only song on the album I had no use for was "We All Want Love." Everything else was decent at worst.

Talk That Talk is a solid album. "Drunk On Love" is lowkey one of her biggest missed opportunities. That would have been a great single in my opinion. I always love the album tracks more than singles, but this album really had some real bops. Drunk On Love is still one of my favorites. I actually heard it played at a sports venue last weekend and still knew all of the words hunni! Watch N Learn will always be that girl, to me. |

I wonder what happened to all the work/recording she did a few years ago. Most of that was scrapped, the material from 2018 onwards anyway. She was intending to release in late 2019, originally, as she stated several times that year but her break up with Hassan around that time had a negative effect on her and I think she lost inspiration/motivation. Then she began recording again last year alongside constantly promoting FentyxBeauty, SavagexFenty + the live shows, committing to her relationship with ASAP etc. I think she’s had her comeback planned for a while now, hence the superbowl. Just glorious really. |
