I've grown to love "Lift Me Up". I know I dissed the song at first on here but it's a real grower and her vocals are fantastic. I really missed her voice and I hope the lukewarm response doesn't scare her off now from releasing a new album one day.

DeuxMoi is legit most of the time with their tea and this sounds totally believable given her history with being late at her tours lol. On top of her saying the SB doesn’t mean an album is coming and it taking a lot for her to agree to do this….I’m gonna take this as it being true and lower my expectations. Seems like it was the people around her wanting it more than Rihanna herself.

One of the most grating times in pop music history but WFL got all the bros out shaking their asses, so I grew to love WFL in a homo's place.

I’m guessing we will get an album the first half of this year?

As much as I want one, I really don't know if we're getting an album this year. For some reason I feel she'll do the Super Bowl and then disappear again but I hope to be proven wrong.

"We Found Love" has crossed one billion streams on Spotify. wjr15!!! I should’ve been tagged tbh. I was one of the first stans of this song the moment it was released while Pulse predicted it would flop because it was “repetitive”.

Her playing clips about her not releasing new music to advertise her performing without new music Queen Maybe the biggest flex...ever? Add to the fact that a new album is not around the corner and the Navy is about to be collectively dishonorably discharged.

Rude...tired of people always bringing down other female artists to make Beyoncé look good.🙄 Nobody needs to make Beyoncé look good, the proof is in the pudding... Her 2013 Halftime Show is, in my opinion, only rivaled by Prince's from 2007. They set the bar very high for every other performer that will follow. However, I do agree bringing her up here is unnecessary. People who don't have a great track record with performing (Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez, I'm looking at you) have put on quite enjoyable performances in recent years. It is possible. Rihanna isn't a top tier performer or vocalist and hasn't performed in 6 years, but I'm confident we'll have a stupendous show come February 12. The Rihanna vs. Beyoncé rhetoric is so old and played out at this point... it's been 17 years.

However I think Rihanna has turned into a great performer through the years. Her confidence and swag shines through. Her vocals have also gotten better through out the years. I also think J Lo is a great entertainer on stage. I’m thinking about her uptempo performances though. I also agree the Beyoncé vs or comparisons to Rihanna is old now. Rihanna so grew into her own artist. Personally I haven’t compared or even thought of them together musically in YEARS..

They are both incredibly successful black women and they should both be celebrated instead of being pit against each other.

If there's one thing J.Lo genuinely excels at that's putting on a great show, she's a stellar performer.

Ah yes the old rumored Bey x Riri beef, its giving back to the time when people thought Ring The Alarm, bless that bop, was about Jay-Z and Rihanna being a thing on the down low lmao.
What an old and tired tale, they are both legends in their own right and we all know it lol.

He's clearly aware that Beyoncé has already performed at the Super Bowl so why make that comment and then claim it isn't shade?

I'm sure I'd have a lot of fun at their concerts. stellar performer? with the mic on? she doesn't have a great track record there. she barely sang in the studio on her own songs 😂

Y’all have turned Ashanti singing background vocals on two songs into JLO not singing her own catalog. It’s sick, and tired.
I wish folks had this energy for every other singer who uses background vocalists. One of the most common practices in the music industry since its invention but somehow it became a negative thing only with JLO. I feel like I’m living in an alternate reality anytime it’s discussed. All of your favs have done it and continue to do so.
