Nobody needs to make Beyoncé look good, the proof is in the pudding... Her 2013 Halftime Show is, in my opinion, only rivaled by Prince's from 2007. They set the bar very high for every other performer that will follow. However, I do agree bringing her up here is unnecessary. People who don't have a great track record with performing (Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez, I'm looking at you) have put on quite enjoyable performances in recent years. It is possible. Rihanna isn't a top tier performer or vocalist and hasn't performed in 6 years, but I'm confident we'll have a stupendous show come February 12. The Rihanna vs. Beyoncé rhetoric is so old and played out at this point... it's been 17 years. WTH are you talking about? If there's one thing J.Lo genuinely excels at that's putting on a great show, she's a stellar performer. , sure... both Katheryn and Jennifer are great with costumes, following a routine, playing hit after hit after hit. I'm sure I'd have a lot of fun at their concerts. stellar performer? with the mic on? she doesn't have a great track record there. she barely sang in the studio on her own songs 😂 |

Y’all have turned Ashanti singing background vocals on two songs into JLO not singing her own catalog. It’s sick, and tired.
I wish folks had this energy for every other singer who uses background vocalists. One of the most common practices in the music industry since its invention but somehow it became a negative thing only with JLO. I feel like I’m living in an alternate reality anytime it’s discussed. All of your favs have done it and continue to do so.

Y’all have turned Ashanti singing background vocals on two songs into JLO not singing her own catalog. It’s sick, and tired. I wish folks had this energy for every other singer who uses background vocalists. One of the most common practices in the music industry since its invention but somehow it became a negative thing only with JLO. I feel like I’m living in an alternate reality anytime it’s discussed. All of your favs have done it and continue to do so. um anyway... my opinion on whether JLo can kill a ballad live or control her breath enough to actually sing while dancing is not super relevant here. my point was that Rihanna, despite not being a Beyoncé/Gaga/Prince/MJ level performer, is probably going to put on a great show and there's no need to compare her to a once in a generation artist like Beyoncé. not to bring her down before seeing her show at all. |

I feel umbrella, we found love, and diamonds are the three I’m most certain of. I’d expect a loud track, but I’m not sure which of the first three singles (though only girl is probably best for the event). Hmm rude boy maybe ?
