Save As Draft is doing pretty well over at Adult Pop, maybe it can crossover and give Katy another hit from this record. Swish Swish is definitely finished.
Though right now Feels seems like the only way Katy will get another hit from this era.

The #2 songs this week in 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012 were blocked from #1 by the song of the summer of those years. Bitch 4 weeks at #2, Without Me 5 weeks at #2, Party Like A Rockstar/Payphone 6 weeks at #2.
My goodness, last years' top 5 is one of the best I can remember.

^ Needed Me is pretty terrible but as for the rest of them they're mostly tolerable IMO. Don't Let Me Down of course is already a classic.
As for this week's top 10, are there expected to be any new entries? I can't see Stay and SJLT lasting that much longer. Also will Wild Thoughts remain in the top 5?

Also, there's an amazing battle for #10 between Stay, Body Like A Back Road and Something Just Like This. Wild Thoughts should stay at #4, but it has a slight chance to hit #3. Simmnfierzig's final predictions: 1 Despacito 722 (=) 2 I'm The One 438 (=) 3 That's What I Like 387 (=) 4 Wild Thoughts 369 (=) 5 Shape Of You 316 (=) 6 Believer 314 (+5) 7 Humble 288 (-1) 8 Congratulations 253 (=) 9 Mask Off 248 (-2) 10 Stay 239 (=) 11 Something Just Like This 238 (-2) 12 Body Like A Back Road 236 (+1) 13 Unforgettable 234 (+3)

Hopefully SJLT falls off. Like the track, but I don't want the Chainsmokers to surpass Katy Perry's streak of 69 consecutive weeks inside the top 10.
Last year's top 10 is great. Much better than the current one, even if I disliked Panda. Don't Let Me Down was great and so was Needed Me. Still play both from time to time.

Don't Let Me Down of course is already a classic. To whom? The 10 Daya fans? I'm not a Daya fan but DLMD is certainly a classic. It's one of the biggest songs that never hit #1 this decade and it's bigger/more remembered than a lot of #1 songs.

A year is not long enough to really tell whether a song is a Classic in the majority of cases (barring something like RITD or Bad Romance), and if any of the The Chainsmokers' hits go on to Classic status, chances are it will be Closer. Being "one of the biggest songs that never hit #1" isn't an auto-qualifier.

Radioactive never hit #2, so you can't judge a song success only by its peak. radioactive also has the longevity record, while DLMD barely got a year edit: I looked and DLMD was at #36 when it fell out, forget everything i said

Really hope Thunder makes it someday! I remember how Demons existed by January 2013 but only took momentum around September after Radioactive peaked at radio.
Pure love when alt acts like ID and TOP crossover to pop and get massive success, and I like how every year since Foster the People in 2011 we get at least one (fun. in 2012, Bastille & Hozier in 2014, Walk the Moon in 2015). Definitely my fave trend of the 2010s.
