I love the performance of this on her Live In Sydney DVD.
This is good.

I know I'm in the minority, given the lack of love for SAW-era Kylie around here, but this is still easily amongst my favourites of her songs.

The only SAW song by Kylie that I really like is "Shocked", and even that one isn't all that good. The Fever Tour update vastly improved it.

This came out in early 1990, so I moved it to the 90s section.
As for the track, I've always felt that it would have been a lot better with someone else producing it. The lyrics are probably the best from that period in her career though, and juxtapose with the pace of the track. It's an energetic song, but it's SO sad if you actually listen to what she's saying.

A highlight of Kylie's PWL years.

I'm not a big SAW fan or her material with them in general. I'm not sure what they were on when they did ROL though, because they nailed that album and the singles. I definitely prefer "Shocked" and "WDIHTD?" but this is good. And it's definitely one of her signatures.

Hands down my fave single from "Rhythm of Love"! Love it! Definitely superior to her 80s work, by far!
Also love the carefree, feel good, jubilant vibe on the tracks from that album. It's everything that the first two albums weren't, for sure.
This should have done well in the U.S., at least.
