Up next in my rankdown queue is the entire discography rankdown of Ke$ha, now just Kesha.
I promise you, I have had this planned for a while and for it to start this weekend. Well before the release of "Praying" was announced. Think of it as a very happy and cool confidence! However, with "Praying" being brand new, I will leave it out as well as anything else past it.
I will open up the ranks with the full list in a few days. Unlike most of the other artist rankdowns, this one will consist of her entire discography up through "True Colors." Any song with her vocals that had been released commercially will be in the list, which makes for just over 50 songs. I considered just doing her albums one at a time, but then I realized she had too many one offs and features to really leave out, so I decided to jump everything together.
The one song I will be leaving off is her cover of Dolly Parton's "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You" from her Deconstructed EP because she will be rerecording it as a duet with Dolly for her upcoming album.
All of her features well be included. From "Timber" to her song with Alice Cooper. Even the remix of "Til the World Ends." I decided not to separate out the two versions of "Dirty Picture" since they are so similar. Finally, I did decide to include the "Sleazy 2.0" remix since it is fairly different from the original. The straight André 3000 remix, however, will be lumped in with the original. Past that and the TTWE remix, no other remixes will be included, but rather lumped in with their originals.
So, animals, get your glitter ready because this is going to be fire!
