Immunity Challenge Spidey Probst: Welcome to the Immunity Challenge. It's time to see how you feel about each other's gameplay. Today's challenge is called "The Rankdown" and here's how it works:In the privacy of your Confessional PMs, each of you will rank all ten of the remaining players in this game (including yourself) from who is playing the best game (#1) to who is playing the worst game (#10). Your rankings will not be revealed to your other tribe members. Give your honest rankings. Using an inverse point system, I will then compile a ranking of everyone's lists once all are submitted. When submitting your private rankings, you must also submit a second list. For this list, you will guess what you believe the tribe as a whole will rank your tribe members. You have until 5:00 p.m. ET tomorrow to submit both lists.To earn points in this challenge, you must correctly match your guesses with the official overall rankings. For each match you make, you will earn 1 point. The person with the most overall points will win reward. Tiebreaker: Everyone listed their favorite number on their pre-season questionnaires. For the ten people remaining in the game, what is the average of their favorite numbers? The closest to the number without going over will win. You must submit a tiebreaker answer. In a reversal of fortune, the winner of today's Immunity challenge will not be the person who scored the best, but rather the person who came in last. Spidey Probst: Welcome back to Tribal Council. Let's bring in the Jury, Brett (Dylan :)) voted out at the last Tribal Council. Let's get started. Spidey Probst: What was your reaction to the result of last Tribal's rock draw? Jane ( Kanenrá:ke): "I was in shock because I was the one in danger I was touched that people would be willing to risk their game. And not just for the people who voted with me but also those who voted against. If it comes down to it, yeah I'd probably be willing." Twila ( Leo ✔): " Honestly I was f**king annoyed to see I was called the "snake" when I wasn't the one who break the "alliance". I wasn't playing the double agent, that's not my kind of game. No, at this point and after the last tribal council I don't feel like I'm in a alliance or so, and after that I'm sure nobody trust me for that. I don't know if I still having allies." Todd ( ry4n): "They're extremely important. You need people on your side to get you through all these votes. I trust my allies, they've proven that to me." Jane ( Kanenrá:ke): "I think they're pretty important. There's still lots of game left till the end so having people around you you trust is important. I feel comfortable with most of my allies, as always there's a chance someone flips and after last tribal I'm obviously worried about leaving." Sarah ( SHOOTER): "Even though there can only be one winner, you still need allies to help steer the voting in the right direction so alliances are still important. Some of my allies I do trust. They've proven to be honest and forthcoming up until now. And there's some I'm beginning to trust a bit more but with a touch of side eye." Kelley ( matteeeb): "Having allies is super important at this point in the game, if you don't have an alliance that you trust at this point, you better find one or you are toast. No shade to Tarzan (@walker9), I don't think his game is really awful or anything but I just thought he'd be ranked at the bottom. And I feel like Jane ( Kanenrá:ke) is definitely known to be a good player so I agree with the first place ranking." Wes ( Normi): "Most games are pretty secret anyways so we don't know who plays best - also everybody sees different things as good playing." Open Deliberation Spidey Probst: We have a tie between Todd (ry4n) and Twila (Leo ✔). We will now have an open deliberation to determine who goes home. Here's how it will work:From this point on and until a castaway has been eliminated - you are not permitted to talk in private messages. All discussion must occur in the main thread. You will discuss who should go home between Todd ( ry4n) and Twila ( Leo ✔). The decision must be unanimous. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, Todd ( ry4n) and Twila ( Leo ✔) will be safe, as will Francesca ( irice22) and Kelley ( matteeeb) - who both have Immunity. The rest of the tribe will draw rocks and one of you will be randomly eliminated, becoming the first member of the Jury. If people on both sides know that they will 100% not change their mind, we can go straight to the rock draw without any need for further deliberation. You have a maximum of four hours to deliberate. |
