Because it is the biggest song in the world and not even a death can overcome Des Pa Cito TS releases a single, featuring Kendrick and Adele, on all streaming platforms + a video, she kills herself instantly after the release... At least 500k debut. Honestly, let's not talk about suicide right now. Especially since Chester just killed himself.

"PRA" sits at #1 for the decade? I would have thought "Uptown Funk" as it had more weeks at #1 but also more in the top 10, no? Interesting. UF was screwed by the 52 week rule. I'm not sure if Billboard will adjust it for the chart, but right now it's right behind PRA. Does Billboard have an official running decade chart? I don't think so, you must be referring to the unofficial tallies here. Given Billboard's penchant for assigning many more points to songs with the most weeks at #1, I would think UF would be #1 anyway for the decade.

Fetish Top 20, Sorry Not Sorry Top 25? I highly doubt that Fetish will go higher than SNS.. Practically an impossibility, since Fetish has been plummeting for the whole tracking week in sales (now out of the top 50) while SNS was in the top 10 of iTunes for the whole tracking week.. Also SNS has been stable in climbing the top 50 of Pop Radio, with not much radio impact, but Fetish is not even charting. And in streams I believe they're more or less equal: SNS and Fetish have both had a stable amount of streams on Spotify with SNS with about 700-800k a day and Fetish with 800-900k. Also the MV for SNS was released with 2 tracking days, so that adds 14 million streams to it's count. Also taking in consideration the audio for Fetish on youtube so they are about equal in streaming. So as I sead, Demi is leading Selena in airplay and sales and are equal in streaming, so practically imposible for Fetish to chart higher next week imo

Where do you think Talking to Myself will debut? The video's gotten 21 million so far and a few sales. Think it'll land anywhere on the lower hot 100?

^Only one days' worth of data for Linkin Park is not enough given that the better performing songs would need to re-enter in the top 50 due to the 20 week recurrent rule. We'll see next week ...

I don't think that 2012 Top 10 is that strong? It's kind of a mixed bag IMO. I mean, there are songs like "Lights" and "Somebody That I Used to Know", but there are also songs like "Payphone" and "Whistle".

Like Prince, Chester died on a Thursday, and while he's not in Prince's ballpark, I would think that the sales driven by the recency on Thursday/Friday could be enough for the top 50, like it was for Prince. Albeit on a smaller scale.

Does Billboard have an official running decade chart? I don't think so, you must be referring to the unofficial tallies here. Given Billboard's penchant for assigning many more points to songs with the most weeks at #1, I would think UF would be #1 anyway for the decade. The all-time Hot 100 chart is already shown that UF(#12) is behind PRA(#5). Before the chart run finished...yes This site has lots of theories but to date there has been no accounting of Uptown Funk's entire chart run on a published chart

Albeit on a smaller scale. I thought Heavy could renter in the low 90s but probably will barely miss it. Next week i think definitely Heavy and their two big hits will renter at least in the top 30 maybe

They applied adjustment factors across time periods with rule changes before, there is no reason to believe they would not here either. Just like any song affected by the 52 week rule. They will need to adjust to account for differences in chart rules and markets for those too.
#12 is not the final position

A song to watch out for that could come out of no where to dethrone Despacito at 1.
Cardi B. - Bodak Yellow
